Exactly! That's what I tell Nigerians TH-camrs that visit some African countries and concentrate only on their Central business district on some few kilometers road project on one stretch of road and they chant "developed" or start comparing to Nigeria. Most often than not they don't show us the residential part of those countries or tell us the high cost of real estate and hotels they stayed in. Most of tthose countries only develop one or two major cities in the entire country and focus mainly on the CBD. Some have residential areas strictly for expatriates or malls and estates constructed by Arabs and foreigners. When they're comparing the ignorant people focus on Lagos because they know Abuja is way above their league in terms of road construction, greenery and real estates for Nigerian Citizens not foreigners. Again, they don't know we have more developed cities and not just the capital of the country. Port Harcourt, Akwa-Ibom, Enugu, Kano, Kaduna, Ibadan, is far more developed than some of the cities I see online especially when it comes to Real Estate for their people. Nigeria's real estate and malls is strictly Nigerian and not developed by foreigners.

@@FERESE You are so right!... I 'm so tired of most Nigerian vloggers in Ghana especially since most of them have clearly never been out of their villages, or seen Nigeria or places like Abuja... but suddenly they get a free ticket to Ghana... visit one road in Ghana... and then they start criticizing Nigeria and claiming Ghana is so developed compared to Nigeria...especially when they know they are simply lying...loll

People from other countries who attribute every "success" to Nigeria's population are maybe actually using it as their excuse as to why them or their country are not doing the same.
They are maybe using it as a cop out for themselves. The difference is more the prevailing mindset and attitude of Nigerians, rather than population size, although numbers do count in some instances, in others it actually makes it more difficult for individual Nigerians to stand out as competition is very high.

Elomo, this is September and by Nigeria's weather format, it's supposed to be the thick of the rainy season. I know for a fact that almost every other part of Nigeria has serious rainfall now except Lagos and it not supposed to be so. I live in Lagos and believe me when I say that a lot of us living here are complaining about the lack of rain cos it's very unusual. Personally, I don't know what is happening in Lagos concerning the rain issue.

Those that only point to the population for every Nigeria’s success are those who cannot bring themselves to acknowledge the brilliance and excellence of Nigerians.
*Every greatness of Nigeria is the people* and not their number nor their government.
The government is just as corrupt and useless as most of the other continental countries.
When compared with Cameroon, the leadership of either country is just as comatose as the other. The major difference is that Nigerians can criticise and push their government to do better. They still have _Freedom Of Speech._ What they sometimes lack is _Freedom After Speech._
But in Cameroon they have neither _Freedom Of Speech_ nor _Freedom After Speech._

@@Southernview3kI don't know why y'all are skeptical bout Gwarinpa Estate's status, cos it is actually the Largest housing estate in the whole West Africa. It was built during General Sani Abacha regime by then minister of works now late, Lateef Jakande the former Lagos state Governor in the1980's that built so many affordable estates in Lagos popularly called Jakande housing Estate.
