The Monorail is such a magical ride! It’s very efficient and you can see so many things happening as you go by. I really just love to kick back and enjoy the ride!!
The Monorail is an iconic part of Disney. Always enjoyed watching the Monorail glide through the Contemporary. A trip to Disney isn’t quite the same without a trip on the Monorail. Thanks for this tour.
I rode the monorail 3 times while I was there, once from Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom. I had to go to Disney Springs that day to pick up a gift card, and once I did that I got the bus to Grand Floridian and then got the monorail back to Magic Kingdom. Then the next 2 times I got the monorail were from Epcot to Magic Kingdom. I had dining reservations in Epcot on those days, and once I finished my meals I got the monorail from Epcot to TTC and then from there to Magic Kingdom park to see Happily Ever After. The monorail is probably my second favourite transport behind the skyliner
The monorail has been my favorite thing since I visited DW in Feb 1972 as a small child and saw it go through the Contemporary atrium. The Monorail and the Contemporary hotel are still my favorites! Been blessed with being able to stay there often.
I can't be the only one who misses the sky blue on Space Mountain's base. No one taking the walk from the GF to the park. Lol. Love the monorail. An iconic part of WDW. Fantastic MK resorts monorail ride Saturday 4K.
On a Disney World trip two years ago we forgot to ride the monorail. We were really disappointed. This past January trip we made sure we rode it. Thanks for posting the video.
I love this iconic transport, though usually for me, it is only between MK and Epcot. 🙃 Any time I hear “Please stand clear of the doors” (or anything similar) I want to follow (and sometimes surrender to it) with: “Por favor, mantengase alegado de las puertas) 😊 Oh my…remembering a little more than a year ago…the confussion…why some were exiting and I was not 😉. (only the few who were there will know) Thank you for sharing this with us, 4K…excitement building as I am now 20 days away….
I don’t ride the monorail as much as I used to but it will forever be my favorite transportation choice! Haha yes I remember that day you’re referring to well, can’t believe it’s been just about a year! Thanks so much my friend 😃
If I was to join Disney's management team, the first thing I would do is remove the Disney Skyliner (the gondolas ) and put two-way monorail beam (track) in it's place. I would also fully automate thee system to make it more efficient and quicker/faster for guests. I think just doing this would bring a lot of people back to Disney World just to experience it. P.S. the "engineer" "piloting' Monorail Red needs a lesson on how to speak to people over a PA system - he sounds horrible, talks too fast (even for me) and it's hardly worth the time he takes to do it. Just automate it. This is a great video by the way! Very well done @4KWDW!
🚝🚝Construction time here get you riding the monorail, but this will soon be done. No monorails at AK which will super sad not getting any angle for work being done. Even Marley will be wondering what is occurring. Sucks your friend is now at MK (some friend lol) because that structure may open up that back area (the gate) again...for CMs or guests.??..that's the question. (me: would be great if they shove Ariel back there so Monsters Inc would have that whole area....) thx 4 💜
I was just at AK today to film Dinosaur again, and it hit me hard. It really was always one of my favorites at WDW so I’m gonna miss it so so much😢 But I really hope Marley will return once the new area opens, I feel like there’s a good chance of that! Thanks so much Liz, I’ll let you know what I see at Studios next time I go!

If the monorail breaks down inbetween stop and has to be evacuated what is the procedure to safely remove the passengers?
It’s never happened to me personally but I believe they’ll just tow the monorail to the next stop

I haven’t heard anything about new monorails unfortunately, it seems like Disney refuses to update them
