It doesn't have watermarks even in the free version.
Please do a tutorial on Windows 10 screen recorder. "Alt+Win+R" I have been using it for training class's where I work but for some reason sometimes the audio doesn't come through and I can't figure out why. Love your video's and I appreciate the time you take to do them.

Finnaly... Debut is working for me on my old windows 7 PC. Thanks for the only good tutorial online. I had to select output as MP4, but other than that, was easy. Audio has issues with reverb, or maybe I should have my sound off when recording sound, but I don't need sound. happy. :).
I agree OBS is a powerful tool, BUT can give you tons of headaches, are a lot of twicks to make it work like you want, if you have the time probably doesn't matters much but OBS is not an easy solution that works perfectly just out the box, I end uninstalling it because give me too high latency in my mic after buy 3 different microphones and lose over a week trying unimaginable amount of things in the settings and adding plugins to it, while just by right click and select my AMD software GPU can simply open Adrenaline and record or stream without need to make a single change in the settings, Adrenaline is intuitive and can be use by any AMD GPU owner right out of the box without need to change any setting, works 100% with windows OS and gives to you right what you need without overcomplicate anything like the case of OBS and in such case if you are going for POWERFUL stuff you simply record with Adrenaline and go for DAVINCI RESOLVE that is the best and more powerful free video editor right now, but if you are a streamer you don't need OBS at all if you have a GPU, because if I am not wrong NVidia also have a screen recording software
Someone else on here said "OBS Is The Worst Software", so now I'm a bit confused. I was going to try either _OBS_ or _Debut Video Capture_ , mainly for my new CCTV camera shots (which I'm still learning how to use). I'm not very tech-minded, but would like to try either of those two. Which would you suggest, please? Thanks.

Although it dose depend on what you wish to record for example for a vertical recording I use simple screen recorder . None of these have the restraints mentioned in this video .

Obs for some reason won't let me hear my desktop auido it's not anything to dp with the laptop I have watched several videos and it stil won't pick up anything. I can even hear a youtube video with the settings putcorrectly so I should be able to hear that through headset.

FBX was the first one that worked, and did everything I wanted. Good frame rate for the game I was recording (The Forest), could record other tabs along with my microphone, and could last long periods
So many people recommend using OBS. I did and just so you know there is a learning curve. When I initially installed it I ran it on default settings and it recorded my game (The Sims) the only problem I had was it didn't fit the screen nor did my game or desktop show up on OBS platform like it does in everyone's tutorial. I used the exact recommendations from a popular channel on here and it doesn't even work now and I don't know how to get back to my original settings (working backwards didn't cut). Keep in mind in the recommendations some tabs and buttons that showed for others didn't show at all for me. So yeah enter at your own risk, play with the settings if you dare and I hope you fair well much better than I did. Anyway, my bad for the long rant all to say - I ended up frustrated hence why I'm here. 💁🏾♀️🙃
I downloaded OBS Studios and it worked fine, but after about a week, it just stopped picking up desktop audio. I tried everything I could find online, every tip and trick in videos and articles to fix it, and nothing worked. Personally, I'd give it a pass.

I've had a problem with OBS is that when record it comes out very glitchy and lagging like 1 frame every 5 seconds. This is random, this has never happened and just recently started happening.
And *What is the record quality of that free Debut?* Free Flashback is 720p, but what about the free Debut? I downloaded it, but there's no indication. I also went to Debut's website, but there's no email contact (only their physical address in Colorado). Thank you.
I got the Flashback6 free version installed and started testing it tonight. I liked it until I tried selecting the setting for it to record my PC's sound and got the message that recording PC sound was not available for the free version. Someone tell me if you got the same message or whether I misunderstood the message.
I uninstalled OBS Studio. I could not get it to stop playing the IBEX intro! Gave access to my email, which it wanted, but won't work! Won't be usIng OBS Studio. Also, too complicated!
