0:21 is basically a description of how DnD works. You bring a bit of your own narrative, and the DM figures out how it figured out into the overall "show." Kind of a cool unintended double meaning.

Molly was like Beau’s ultimate foil. The person obsessed with knowing the fine details and wanting straight answers, and the person who you’d have to drag kicking and screaming (or put a spell on) to get them from. It’d of been interesting to see how their dynamic might have changed or grown as time went on.
Yeah, it was really interesting to me, seeing how losing that foil sort of pushed Beau to grow into the role she eventually took. Makes you wonder if she would have gone down a different path or if it would have held back her development if he'd survived. Though I don't know how the M9 would have made it all the way through the campaign without a healer.
Actually, Molly just bullshitted and pretended to know things when in actuality he knew absolutely nothing. It's like he tells the Kryn soldier in Zadash, "I don't know anything, it's part of my charm". So when Beau starts grilling him, Molly just threw together some random shit and used his forked "Devil's Tongue" to weave all the shit into something closely relevant.

I always kind of wondered why Molly was so against telling anybody what he did know of his history. I almost feel like Kingsly actually remembered being Molly, but Molly was never one to dwell on the past. Also, it's funny how Molly, in all his glory, was the moral compas of the group, he tried doing wat Cad did, but was received differently by everyone. He had a certain bit of wisdom, but in a kids body and presented the way a kid would. Cad was slow to act and had the certainty of age.
The unstoppable force of Beau meets the immovable object of Mollymauk, I loved those 2 together lol, always felt like they were like 5 seconds away from either punching eachother in the face or hugging like besties. Also, Nott sat at the end of the bed like a raggedy ann doll is just the cherry on top of this animation lol, I love her
Part of me hopes they do an EXU short campaign with Kingsley trying to take over darktow, a one shot with the same premise, or Taliesin brings Kingsley back as a backup to Ashton

Jester would not have matured as well as she did. Beau still would have been as prickly as she was in the beginning. Yasha would have grown more. Nott might have still been a mess even after finding her family leaning into Mollys free spirit more then Caduceus maternal nature. And Fjord… Fjord would have never leaned on Cad and became a Paladin he would have stayed a tormented Hexblade Also we would have never been given such an amazing and heart wrenching journey for the last Arc of the campaign

I really, really hope Taliesin get one more chance to play as Molly in a one shot something; I just, I really miss him.
There was a a PVP oneshot where three members of season 1 party and season 2 fight, and Talieson(I think is his name) would swap between season 1 character and season 2 character counting on who has the mcguffin.

I come back to rewatch this cause the raw energy of “Cause I’m Weird!!!” Never leaves. It’s so powerful and so Molly in the most perfect way. I love him. 💜💜
I love this interaction, and l it made me realize how far they came with their voices, Nott’s accent is softer and Caleb has a more heavy German accent, Beau also changed because her voice got deeper and more cynical sounding. Thank you for making this wonderful animatic and making me remember how far they’ve come! :]]
Liam already had the German accent. I joked that in retrospect, his Caleb voice didn't suprise me because I knew of him as NIghtcrawler in Marvel heroes Online.
Mollymauk was far and away my favorite Tallison PC we’ve seen yet. And possibly my favorite C2 character up to that point, though it’s hard to compete with Jester and Nott. His vibe, his dress, and his role in the party were all amazing. I obviously think the C2 story wound up beautiful and I can’t say if I would change a thing in hindsight, both for the sake of the story and the game- but much love to Talison for making such a great character and much empathy and respect to Tal for rolling with everything when “life” (in game) threw such a hard punch his way.
I always say this but I’m soooo happy whenever you upload these smaller moments from C2. It will always have a special place in my heart for being the very first CR campaign I got into and saw through to the end, so I love getting to see these easily-missed moments brought to life.

Love this! And man I love Mollymauk and Caleb. Honestly, I prefer campaigns 1 and 2 over campaign 3. Not saying I don't like it, but I just feel like the characters were more interesting for me personally in the prior campaigns. But maybe Bell's Hells will grow on me. Anyway, amazing animatic!
As much as I love Molly, by far one of my favorite CR characters, I cannot deny that the Mighty Nein were *fucked* six ways from Sunday without Caduceus. And not just narratively, though that's important too, but there were SEVERAL instances where Taliesin not having access to Cad's abilities might have meant a party death- I just recently rewatched them exploring the Happy Fun Ball to rescue Yussa and it struck me how Caduceus was definitely the MVP of the mageslayer golem fight. If Taliesin hadn't thought to Command the golem to deactivate when he did, I truly think Fjord and Caleb would have died, and not in a way that can be brought back- their bodies would've been lost to the void

I met Tal about a month or so after I'd seen that, and already I was also loving Cad.
