This is my one-take entry for the Sumerian Records Vocal Contest.
After the contest, Sumerian Records claimed the copyright to my version of the song. I tried to fight it, but they threatened to take down the video and give my channel a copyright strike if I did not remove my claim. I think it is messed up they released an instrumental for the public to write over, then they claimed it. Now they are making money off my lyrics, image, and voice. I guess I should not expect anything less from a huge, corporate, money-hungry record label. Enjoy the song anyway, and keep on rocking!

The judges are... amateur compared to Justin, I'd say.
Something tells me that’s not really Justin’s scene, but I could be wrong. I feel like all of those shows are scripted and they don’t show very much love to people with voices like his. They want people they can sell to the masses, which is hard to do with metal.

This stuff is too heavy for the Voice. Justin has a fuck ton of talent. But it would be a turn off with the screams. The song is amazing. Vocals, spectacular. But since the judges seem to all use the same formula, and this is way out of it. If you sing pop, in a sub-par sense, you'd prolly win. If you can have vocal talent like this, you'd prolly lose because of the screams.
