Are they ever going to revisit to 3D ones they did back on PS2? Would be nice to make my own in that sense

The only thing missing in WITH is the character generator and custom animation.
Fynny thing is that the graphic assets are from rpg maker MZ, and MZ has the character generator and custom animation.
Rpg maker MV on console has those things as well, but I guess they plan to release a LOT of those pre made character sprites as dlc, since we can't create our own characters this time.
Maybe they'll add it in someday but I'm not hoping too much about that.
As it is now, if you want rpg maker on console, I'd recommend MV, or else choose PC version.

i would really love to get into this and make my own RPG, but its just too complicated for me. There's coding elements and levels of nuance I just can't abide when in my mind I just want something to be a certain way, but my knowledge of or ability with a game engine, just won't allow for it. Gets me down xD

You joke but it can actually be done. I didn't recreate the game but I did make my own version of a sequel to Bloodborne. Thanks to the asset share feature I even got to use a lot of what was already in Bloodborne and repurpose it. If you grab this RPG Maker, head to the top player made games list. You should see Bloodborne: Eternal Blood in 4th place there. I got it to run at 4K 60fps too. If you have a HDMI 2.1 120hz VRR compatible TV, I also have a 1440p 120fps mode.

Yo Sony, stop being weird and just release all your games on PC too. I guarantee you'll make 10 fold what you make forcing people to buy your console. PC gamers don't want your inferior hardware regardless, but are tired of waiting 5 years for you to "maybe" release a PlayStation game on steam.
These games are called RPG makers but you cannot make ARPGs simple ones like Zelda on super nintendo. Also the game has outdated NES style graphics and tiny diminutive.... Well everything from text to characters. For something so complex it should be much more robust. The idea of enabling players to create their own RPG is fantastic. It just needs to be properly delivered. When with all that being said, thank you for doing your best and creating another interesting title.
