Please post videos as you get the engine freed up and whatnot. These machines are a part of history and seem to be pretty rare. Thanks for saving the old girl and good luck getting it all working again.

I am currently having some brain fade trying to recall the name of a LeTourneau employee who was involved in the history of
LeTourneau equipment. It was his contention that these machines never actually were designed to be airdropped as there were no aircraft at the time large enough to carry them.

Dale Hardy. And I agree, there wasn't any aircraft back then with rear cargo doors. The cargo planes loaded through a side door, so large objects can't be discharged in flight.

Subscribed! Looking forward to seeing more. My cousin has one but it's in pretty tough shape. I'm sure it can be saved but it's not going anywhere soon.

A great find Very much worth restoration .
I like to see this combined with other Airborn and Airportable equipment for a display or collection , they are the rarest of the rare, as few were built fewer have survived as for these I m sure many were worked to death in the construction and related business's

I think there are much rarer airborne machines, like the grader, CAB scraper pan, and the Case SI setup to pull the CAB

The guide brand lights are not original, but the left tire is. Air transportable is not the same as droppable with a parachute. And even so, they would have been delivered to two pieces and assembled later. Have you done any work on it?

Awesome little machine. Can you tell me what the dimensions are of the Tournapull? I've read that they are a little over 3 tons but how long, wide and tall are they?
