Matariki at Mangere Mountain - Sylvia Park School

Ngā mihi o Matariki, te tau hou Māori.
Today was a Sylvia Park School first, a whole school Matariki picnic and celebration day on Māngere Maunga.
SPS doesn’t do things by halves so we made sure we made a full day for our deserving learners. Our tamariki experienced Kapa Haka, Kī o Rahi, sports, star drawing and a Hikoi up to the summit. No Matariki celebration would be complete without a delicious hangi for lunch.
