The irony is that I came to ABQ a decade ago. Had never heard of these, tried one from the El Camino Restaurant where I eat breakfast. They are delicious! In Western N.Y. I grew up eating Mexican Wedding cake cookies. Christmas they were a standard for Mom to make. Loved those too. They have Anisettesp? Which is a tip off in both cookies.

Ordered these as a Christmas gift for a friend. She loved them, I tried the Chocolate Chip they were wonderful. Will be ordering more soon.
