      Hi, this looks like a great device & I’m pretty sure it would be working. However, I would have appreciated to see some live testing on barking dogs. Nevertheless, can you tell us if it works good on a small range like 50 feet? Finally, what are your conclusions: What type of équipement should I use: Piezzo, tweeters, ampli, etc... I was planing to install mine in the shed with a power supply, to make sure it’s protected by rain but also unseen by my neighbour. Any advise would be more than welcome. Many thanks for the video.

    It seems weird , that today in modern society , and living in a normal housing estate somewhere . If someone [ human being ] was in a back yard and yelling out loudly at different times of the day , eventually the police would be called , and if the guy/woman did not stop yelling out and disturbing the peace , they would be arrested . taken away and charged . BUT .. you can have a dog barking and carrying on at all times of the day , and no one seems to want to do anything . the barking is just as loud as the guy yelling out . probably even more so , but it is deemed ok for the barking to happen and to disturb everyone living around the said dog . It is like the dog is in charge , and can start barking at the drop of a hat , and everyone has to accept it . AND .. it slowly is getting worse as more and more people get dogs . And most have NO idea on how to train them properly and just do not care about anyone else , except themselves and their fucken noisy fur babies. Fuck I hate dogs these days. A pox on society .

      I keep pestering the sheriff's dept. and making them come out. They are the only ones that can dispatch animal control. My neighbors with annoying dogs think I can't do squat about their dogs because we're out in the country. WRONG! IT'S ON, BABY!

      You are 100% spot-on with your Statement. Maybe we need Dog-Police that can come around - and arrest that barking Pooch! Councils are tigers without teeth. They deliberately create very 'ambiguous laws (or By-Laws), and these always have too many conditions or strings attached. I would guarantee that there are NO Nuisance - Barking Dogs in the close proximity to where a Magistrates Judge - or City Judge resides. Many of the barking dogs are owned by persons who have no Home Insurance. That's my theory. I have been experimenting with a Variable Frequency Generator which is set at 22kHz. The signal from the Frequency Generator also has 3 - modes: Sine wave / Triangular wave and square wave. Currently, I have this set on a square wave output. The output from the Frequency Generator passes through a Single-Channel 18W solid-state Amplifier - purchased ready-built on Ebay. The Output from the Amplifier is controllable, on volume, and goes directly to a Piezo Tweeter. When the dog is barking, there is a certain (regular) 'time gap' between barks. At the Front-End of all this, I also purchased a Remote Module, and this goes direct to a 12vdc power source. From my pocket, I press the Remote Control to "ON". Immediately that I do this, the system is activated and almost instantly, the dog barks become louder and with less of a 'time gap' between the barks. Since I cannot hear the Ultrasonic Sound which is being produced, it is the offending shitty animal that lets me know that everything is functioning. The dog barks stop............. I press the "OFF" button on my Key-Fob Remote after 5 mins. Peace....... until next time.

      @@peterduxbury927 hello , yes i bought a kemo device like the one above in the video clip. I have a decent tweeter. I am just in the process of getting my small solar panel mounted somewhere to keep charge on my 12 volt car battery. and to get a tin funnel sort of thing to house the tweeter and to mount it in a suitable place. My problem here is on and off. some days are good. some days are bad . I spent $160 on the anti barking device , and it does not work at all. the mongrel keeps barking. The thing next to me barks at anything , fucken anything that moves. Wouldn't it be fucken fantastic if there was a corona virus that only affected dogs. And it was a nasty one at that . It surely would not hurt to cull the dog population a bit. And cull idiot owners as well .

    I am using an "1968" Kenwood tk-150 amp that the HF outputs to 50khz, wired to 2 fostex ribbon tweeters with crossovers, HF output to 45khz. Also using a sound frequency generator on my tablet linked via 3.5mm to 2RCA cable set to 27.5khz for the dogs and 17.5khz for all day, everyday screaming kids. Works a treat these high frequency devices and it is once again a sanctuary to live in my home, in peace.

      @ElRazTheGreat1  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      "27.5khz for the dogs and 17.5khz for all day"!, you found the right frequency range! Did you actually measure the frequency, the DB output and what is the distance/range?
      Great job,

    • @wefukthenwo
      @wefukthenwo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElRazTheGreat1 The frequency is displayed on the tablet screen as it is an android app. It is basic to adjust but it is accurate and free of charge. I have not tested the DB reading, but I will now that you mentioned it. I will update you with the results. I fire the high frequency tweeters at the dogs which are at least 50 meters away and they run for the hills and stay there. This is only at quarter amp volume. I leave it on for 30 seconds only. The oldest of the dogs is not much affected but it doesn't bark either! The ribbon tweeters work very, very well without tubes or horns but they weren't cheap unfortunately. The ribbons were part of a speaker build project.

    For dogs you need to produce around 25Khz. Anything below will not bother them. I can only hear up to 13 Khz at my age but the have speakers outside the shops where kids congregate which produces 17 Khz and it drives the kids away but not the adults just coming to shop. The trouble with dogs is that you need a directional soundwave. I'm working on the most efficient as I have a dog that barks constantly.

      Before, I had 4 tweeters (4 Pair of 3.25" x 3.25" Piezo Tweeter Element DJ Speaker Car Audio Square Single Super Horn NTX-1004PZ) connected in parallel with Kemo M0480N. Took tweeters apart and put each in it's own 16" of PVC. Looked similar to a 4 barrel shotgun. Was about 92db at the end of each tube. Put Kemo dial on 7 and was effective at about 100 ft with a rare, occasional bark.
      I've since tried the Kemo with the suggested amp with the suggested tweeter and it was at only about 80db at the end of the pvc and not effective. This tweeter was the lowest in volume that I've tried. The amp causes a lot of static, like white noise, even with the frequency set high.
      I had an older Pyle (Pyle PDBT28 1-Inch Heavy Duty Titanium Super Tweeter) that I tried without the amp, just the Kemo and it is louder at around 98-100 db. This tweeter costs more but it has a Sensitivity of 104dB which is very efficient. I am going to field test it without an amp, just the Kemo and see how it performs.

    I noticed you mentioned the Amplifier did not work. I remember reading that you need a special amplifier that is able to play extremly high frequency sounds. The one you listed seems to be specification up to 22KHZ and you need one that goes to like 60KHZ. WHy would you use the TPA3116 D2?
    The other thing I would like to point out is that 4" tweeter has a frequency range of 1.5KH - 22KHZ, this does not go as high as the Kemo Ultrasonic Generator which goes as high as 40KHZ.
    I am not really sure what you are going to miss here running components not meant for these frequency ranges. The proper Piezo Dome Tweeter that is recommended goes as high as 60KHZ.
    I just wanted to point this out to everybody who is looking at this topic that the components don't seem to be in the correct frequency range and may not be able to tune properly if you need to go really high on the KHZ.

    • @cf4459
      @cf4459 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      to stop barking dogs you want 25 KHz best for dogs. Different Frequencies for different animals. for rats 17.5 KHz etc.

    • @peterduxbury927
      @peterduxbury927 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cf4459 How can you really be certain about that statement? Not all dogs have the same ability to hear the precise level of 25kHz. The best way to "set" the desired frequency on a particular dog - is to actually VARY the frequency whilst it is barking - and check the response from the offending animal. This is why the so-called Bark-Stoppers on Ebay will NOT work on every dog. They are a fixed -frequency. Added to this, the sound output from those devices (costing over $100) is very poor. Every barking dog need bombarding with (powerful) Ultrasonic Sound and at the optimum frequency. Only the offending dog can tell you this.

    This seems to be a problem all over the world. Firstly let me say I love dogs, had two German Shepherds myself and grew up with them, my father was a Police dog officer. The problem, as always when dogs cause issues, is ignorant neglectful owners. Here in the U.K my neighbour allows her GS to bark at 5:30 to 6:30 am every morning, we've tried asking nicely and tried asking formally but to no avail, it's not continuous by any means but a few barks from a GS just 5 yards from our bedroom window means we're awake at that time every morning whether we like it or not, 5:45 on Christmas morning, wonderful, happy Xmas neighbour! Environmental control at the council said there was nothing they can do as the barking has to be continuous for 20 minutes at least 3 times per day for them to take action. A while ago my partner fell asleep at the wheel of her car as she travelled into work, people need to understand how this seriously affects peoples lives. There is a product available in the UK made professionally very similar to what is being done here, www.brocott.co.uk/high-power-ultrasonic-repeller-single-speaker/ we have just bought one and set it up via an amazon alexa controlled plug, we can set timers to switch it on or fire it up manually anytime from our smart phones. I'm hoping it'll work.

Like, the whole thing was about deflecting fire from a lighter, not really getting the dog shut up. Well well, nice time toying with lighters and pipes. Hardly anything else achieved though.
