Great video I ordered my sol nova unlimited and am waiting for it to come from the service shop in Oregon, Hawk and Allison are amazing great customer service , I’m Jeremy been tattooing 20 years and I am totally stoked to get wireless machine in hand to test out ... Cheyenne rocks keep pushing the limits .....
Will you guys upload a video on how to property wrap the Soul Nova Unlimited? I see cheyenne videos where some guys use the clip cord plástico as an extra layer between the Machíne and grip, but I think that may affect the engine's power as the plástic will retain some of the "kick". Also, I have seen other videos where they do not use this extra layer and just fully cover the Machíne and the grip separately. Please, Let us know the absolute safest way for the new Machíne. Thanks
We believe that overlapping a clipcord sleeve and then adding the grip (or disposable grip) will be safest way to cover the machine to avoid any liquids getting close to it. if you additionally use grip wrap for better grip is up to you.
Hi! Thank you for so good explicated video . I have a question . My Tattoo maschine that i use for permanent make up, gives me the Error: Connect maschine. Can you please explain , what it means ? Thank you !!
Bought one couple months back.. some people will say £1000 is expensive.. however.. it pays for itself in couple tattoos.. 🤷♂️😊 Every other machine I own now resides in the drawer.. or tomb maybe a better word.. no longer of any use to me.. unless I wanna step back to a machine that is no where near as powerful, versatile or consistent. Fact. This thing is a game changer... does everything.. VERY well.. I love the guys at FK.. but sorry.. this blows all a them outta the water.. fantastic in every way, which is something I never thought I'd be able to say about any machine Well balanced.. very comfortable to hold.. no aching hand after a long tattoo.. I love both modes.. I use steady for the crisper outline stuff.. just what i prefer.. this thing hits like a 4mm.. lines are solid and consistent.. responsive mode is fantastic.. but be aware if your used to something very soft like a Xion.. this will soft shade but you wont need anywhere near the amount of passes.. be careful not to end up over packing ur light greys.. it hits hard even when running on the soft mode.. which is great and saves time once you adapt to its hit. The no wires thing is so freeing.. no more power supplies or restrictive movement.. so easy to wrap.. I use cling film so I can still see and feel the button (prob only thing I'd ask they'd made bigger.. but with cling wrap its sweet) and barrier tape.. ready to roll. My clients have reported very clean quick healing.. minimal trauma to skin.. I've yet to have one say they didnt feel a thing 🤣🤣 .. 😉 Very satisfied
I find that I can use responsive mode for absolutely everything. Bold lines to delicate shading work the sol nova unlimited is the most amazing machine on this planet!!!!!!! Every artist needs one in there hands.
Dan Haley, Which needle groupings are you using and what types of cartridges? Also which machines have you been able to successfully line with in the past? I find that with larger liner groupings, 9 traditional and up, you definitely want to be turning off responsive mode and NOT hang your needles very far. Ride the tip for large needles or as close as possible.
Thanks for this video. Could you make to compare the unlimited 3.5 and 4.0 one to another? I got different answers from Cheyenne which one is better for me. One guy said, lining with the 4.0 and shading with the responsive mode. Other ons told me that I need both machines to get the best results. I would be very thankful for an answer. Thanks. Nice regards.
@@CheyenneTattooEquipment ...so is that actually the opposite of what the video explanation says... “Steady light, steady mode” it’s still a bit confusing. I understand because I’ve been tattooing with it for a long time, but if this is supposed to clarify the confusion.. it’s actually giving the incorrect information.
Sorry, in the manual and in the vidéo, it's the opposite. Steady mode is Line, responsive mode is dot. English is not my native langage, sorry also. Could someone clarify this? Thanks for the explanation!
stroke 3.5 is most commonly used and a versatile allrounder. can be used for lining, shading and black and grey work. A stroke 4.0+ hits the skin harder and is ideal for linework and colour packing. It can easily push large needle groups into the skin. The needles can hang further out the tip which gives you more accuracy for linework.
If you were lining whit a 3 rl whould you prefear using steady or responsive mode? I know that both of them are good, but what does says the science behind it?
I mean it is almost a single line needle so maybe the responsive one is better because it may reduce the needle vibration,I'd like to know if this is true, thanks
@@CheyenneTattooEquipment can we still purchase the older hawk model that is not ‘sort of responsive’ mode? I purchase a new hawk, since my original machine not working, but the new mode isn’t as consistent Looking forward to your reply, Thankyou 🙏

Lining with mine is awful....i think it’s actually defective because it seems like I’m the only one. 15 years n iive never struggled so much.

Dan Haley something is wrong with yours because I line with an 18 round shader with no issues single pass.

U can’t gain more stroke with hand movement. But u can go less.
... if I'm not mistaken the "stady mode" is actually the the dotted symbol of the machine...
Yes, the steady mode is shown by the dotted symbol.

How big needle groupings can you push with the 4.0 unlimited?18rs?
Do you do lining works with the 3.5 sol nova or do you use another stroke
stroke 3.5 is most commonly used and a versatile allrounder. can be used for lining, shading and black and grey work.
A stroke 4.0+ hits the skin harder and is ideal for linework and colour packing. It can easily push large needle groups into the skin. The needles can hang further out the tip which gives you more accuracy for linework.
Has anyone ever felt the difference between both modes? In my opinion its just theory. I dont see any difference on Sol Nova.
The Hawk Pen hits way harder than the Hawk Thunder, why?

It’s basically soft and hard mode, simple as that
So does the sol nova unlimited always automatically turns on to steady mode?
Regardless, it’ll take literally a second to switch between the two modes.
@@paulpeddie8403 thanks, but it wasn’t the question 😊

does the hawk responsive mode work as same as the sol nova and terra?
As the HAWK machines do not have two modes they run in a sort of responsive mode. The SOL Nova runs in steady mode and SOL Terra in both modes.
@@CheyenneTattooEquipment can we still purchase the older hawk model that is not ‘sort of responsive’ mode?
I purchase a new hawk, since my original machine not working, but the new mode isn’t as consistent

What mode use classic Sol Nova with cable?
The SOL Nova runs constantly in the steady mode. The SOL Nova Unlimited has the option between steady and responsive mode.
Does Richard like to use a 4.0 mm stroke length?
Awesome video guys ! I purchased mine right after. I will Definitely encourage anyone to try them out
Thank you so much! Have fun with it!
Hey bros.. Why are these things so expensive. They are mass produced, impossible to sterilize and don’t tattoo properly.
