As a fellow songwriter/singer- this shit takes a WHILEE (the editing part). She (and Tommy, and everyone else there) probably spent manyyy hours editing, and layering all these harmonies and bringing it all together. It is super fun though layering harmonies- it’s my absolute favoriteeeee. But also very time consuming lol. Writing the lyrics is fairly quick and easy - it’s just trying to figure out background vocals and harmonies to go along with it, so that the song doesn’t sound empty. It’s amazing to see how POV was put together, and to listen to her come up with these harmonies. Beautiful!
