I've had my Ballade for about a month now and absolutely love it. It is really versatile like you said. Mine runs about -1.5 a day. Unbelievable quality and some high horology elements for an unbelievable price.
Thanks. Finally a review that gave lug to lug dimensions for this watch. I liked that you gave a wrist measurement also. I believe that this movement has also won a chronometer contest so it's no slouch when it comes to accuracy. Definitely great value for the cost. I can finally pull the trigger on one of these because it should fit nicely on my 6.9-inch (175mm) wrist. Love the color on that brown Hirsch. It reminds me of the brown Lange croc straps.
Great review, thanks!! I am seriously considering getting this piece. I assume accuracy would not be an issue, since it is COSC certified. I would probably change the strap though. I also prefer a lighter brown leather (or Cordura), instead of the dark leather brown it comes with.

Does the ballade Model T108.408.22.037.01 have silicium mainspring? Confused with this model or the Ballade new one with fluted bezel.. i like this one looks but not sure if I'm missing any technical specs with the new one. Thanks
Looks like Tissot upgraded the bezel to this crown style - looks like they're paying homage/copying the rolex datejust. It looks like this one does have the silicium hairspring though too. Different dial and different 12/6 indices - I kinda like the original generation a bit better (i'm a bit bias though haha).

@@theintermittentgentleman9517 quick question, i bought this and whenever i try to manually change date via using the minute hand (i.e. changing from date 1 to date 2 at around midnight using the minute hand) there is a distinct click whenever it changes. it is fairly loud than what i am normally used to. is it similar for yours?
@@grapegh0stx The date wheel is pretty aggressive turn over for me as well. Very positive clicking sound. I believe that's because this watch is a true 12:00 turnover rather than slowly progressing between 1:00a and 3:00a that morning.

I dont have personal experience with the visodate heritage but for me, I would go with the Ballade. I think the dial is a bit cleaner with just the date complication, and a bit more interesting with the textured inner dial. It looks like the visodate heritage isn't COSC certified - I hear that Tissot's non-cosc powermatic 80s are pretty accurate though.
