The Keeper's Hive allows beekeepers to access the brood chamber without needing to lift off any of the supers. Can you show a future video how you overwinter the two queen keeper? How do the bees uses the shared resources without moving the cluster up?
Will do. The spacer box immediately above the brood box has a divider in it. So each colony has 8 deep frames in the brood chamber and 5 deep frames in the spacer box to overwinter. George
Love the ease of it all. However, uncapped honey should not be counted as part of your total harvest. They may finish the box off and they may not finish it off.
But the colonies look great
Agree. I count the frame as harvestable if 75% of the frame is capped or if 75% of the box is capped.. all three of those boxes were greater than 75% capped. George
