Haqq! These people usually attack students of knowledge that actually sit, learn and are conntected to the scholars as a distraction tactic. These hizbis here in the west actually recommend against Sheykh Abdurrazaq Al Badr, Sheykh Ruhayli and pretty much every other scholar apart from one or two as well as any student of knowledge that isn't part of their hizb. I'm paraphrasing but this is pretty much the quote. One of them in the UK actually claimed that Sheykh Ruhayli came to the UK to destroy their 30 year dawah and that he was unsuccesful in it. SubhanAllah. May Allah rectify our affairs
I don’t understand the politics of this. I will just follow the Quran and Sunnah as understood by the first rightly guided generations and ignore such people if I encounter them. Sometimes being a simple laymen is a blessing.
A good example of this was shaykh Solaiman Ruhaili's dawra last weekend, where he taught usool as-sunnah here in Riyadh. You have a segment of western brothers that gather in their monthly istirahahs where some relatively unknown students of knowledge who are praised by them go through a book or give a kalimah here and there, or some duat from the west comes and visits and they turn out in their hundreds, yet they completely avoid shaykh Solaiman's dawra, they left off the dawraat at shaykh ali al hadadi's masjid where he hosted shaykh saleh sohaimi, shaykh saleh as-sindi, shaykh abdullah anajmi etc. You dont find them at the duroos of shaykh saleh usaymi, or shaykh abdusalam ashuwai'r, never saw them at the duroos of shaykh abdullah alqusayr (رحمه الله), the llist goes on. On the flip side, when abu khadijah came here from birmingham they flocked to the majlis in their hundred and held a question and answer session with him, whilst simultaneously leaving off the mountains of benefit from actual ulama here in Riyadh. They even do telelinks from here in Riyadh to duat in west, thats how deep it's become, yet they expect us to beleive that they are 'the salafis'!. Boggles the mind
Sad reality is, I almost am sure that some of these brothers you're referring to are from my city, Los Angeles CA. Some I've known for two decades, yet they have nothing to do with me presently due to drinking the kool-ade from those who have formed a clear and manifest hizb they have dubbed "The Salafis" and hold enmity for whoever is not with them. I remember seeing brothers arguing about this and it wrecked me really as a beginner in salafiyyah. I’m a sister so I can’t just ask them what’s happening. From being dependent on who knows is reliable channels on instagram /youtube, I took it in my own hands and learned the truth from reliable scholars. سبحان الله when i read the messages from the famous saafiqah against our shaykh sulayman ar ruhayli, it saddened me. However this issue needs detailed explanation from when a person leaves Ahlus Sunnah, how and when tabdee is made, Salaf imams differing in Al Jarh Wat Ta'deel in the past and how they dealth with it. As a Student in Madinah, I see many scholars are now openly speaking about these issues bcz it has become a world-wide problem. Not speaking about these issues and not explaining it to the people has lead many astray in this chapter. I hope you will do some detailed explanation later on.

Usthad Abdul Azeez, I have seen many lectures and articles when brothers from salafi publications solely dependent upon sheikh Fouzan. If you read the website of brother Musa Richardson, I see a lot of references are from Sheikh Mohammed Bazamol. Recently there was a tweet from Mustafa George that he visited Sheikh Abdul Mohsin Abad in his home. Alhamdulillah they are connecting the Muslims of west to Ulamaa. Usthad dont be unjust in your interpretations.

Exactly bro. Also even the Salaf differed regarding certain individuals, none of them put others out of manhaj. There were Imams like Ibn Hibban who were little negligent in the science of hadith, no one said to him he's mumayyi', this and that. They only refuted his errors. And there was Yahya bin Maeen who even criticised Imam Ash Shafiee. They didn't force their opinions on others and made it an issue of Al Wala Wal Bara and kick others out of manhaj.

Actually, those who have hizbiyyah are the quickest to label others as hizbee. Spubs placed their Al Wala Wal Bara on positions of Shaykh Rabee and Shaykh Ubaid in Al Jarh Wat Ta'deel, which is a subsidiary issue. They kick others out of manhaj based on this. This new phenomenon cannot be seen from the Salaf and the scholars like Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Al Qayyim, Al Albani, Bin Baaz and Al Uthaymeen. Spubs have Hizbiyyah because they have made non fundamental issue like a Fundamental issue and put their Al Wala Wal Bara in it and kick others out of manhaj. Blindly following only Shaykh Rabee and Shaykh Ubaid in issues of manhaj, making their positions as compulsory to take, even the one who is silent is called silent devil. Causing separation and division between the Salafis based on this false manhaj. Is this the Manhaj of the prophets and the Salaf? No.... If you think why you don't take from Shaykh Sulaymaan ar Ruhaylee, it's because he supported another scholar in an issue. Is that a fundamental issue? Does it take him out of Salafiyyah? No. Is he a Salafi even if he's mistaken in this? Yes. Apply this to all the scholars you all have abandoned and check your heart. There are no scholars who don't make mistakes. There are salaf Imams who made mistake even in certain fundamental issue like Ibn Khuzaymah. They weren't warned against or no one made it compulsory to take their warnings. There are many beautiful statements of Imam Ad Dhahabi, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Al Qayyim and others on how to deal with the mistakes of the scholars and the seeker of truth. The criteria is that his goodness overwhelms his mistakes, and his intention was to follow the truth, such a person is excused In Sha Allah. Learn the religion properly.
He maybe an Allamah in Hadeeth. But he makes Shaykh Rabee and Shaykh Ubayd as the sole reference point in all manhaj issues and makes it an issue of Al Wala Wal Bara and kicks others out of Manhaj. He's an extremist in this angle Akhi
@Dr.Badrmlk Not all scholars deal certain issues like Shaykh Rabee and Shaykh Ubayd. Even they both differed on many individuals throughout their life time. For some people Shaykh Ubayd made tabdee earlier while Shaykh Rabee even waited for 20 years. So, differing between them is permissible, while outside them is not permissible. Al Jarh Wa Tadeel itself is a matter of Ijthihaad. These people have made it like a Fundamental issue and put their Al Wala Wal Bara on it.
