What drivers do you have installed? Have you tried downloading the full featured drivers from HP dot com? I can provide a link for the drivers for you in a private message if you would like. I'll need to know your operating system.
Let's try these steps to reset: 1. Press the Power button to turn on the product. 2. With the product turned on , disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product. 3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. 4. Wait at least 15 seconds. 5. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. 6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product. 7. If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

i had a bad paper jam and i didnt know what to do because it was not one paper or two it was atleast 18 or 20 pages stuck together but dont worry just pull softely at each paper from where you feed the paper and then pull softly from where printed papers come as they have shown in the video and again try to pull from down it will take some time but it really works

yes, our hp 1010 always jam when it feed the 3rd paper letter size and when we use legal size paper it takes 30% chance to jam.
