the animation was great! i especially love the expressions and how creative the attacks were, especially with the dashing ability. i imagine it being one of the duo throwing the other at the attack. i also love how when azzy says “i love you” chara doesn’t hesitate to say it back (THEY’RE SUCH CUTE CINNABUNNIES AAAAAAAA) a little bit of criticism: - a few spelling mistakes, i’m only mentioning these because the actual thing is so good they seem silly, - the attacks were too fast (I’ve seen a few other people mentioning this), i could barely see what the actual attacks were (a shame because they seemed so good) - i think it would be good to find a way to differentiate chara’s and frisk’s/metta’s souls, but ofc this isn’t a huge problem since it doesn’t really matter also one thing I’m confused about: why would toriel hate asgore in this timeline? i can understand her being sad, but why not hate sans instead? since he’s king?
@@Cheese-cw3fw Thank you! Also, to answer your question. The reason Toriel hates Asgore in this AU is because he created the amalgams, due to him being the Royal Scientist in StoryShift. This is what causes them to divorce in this universe.
imo, the attacks are way too fast moving, i think you'd be fine slowing them down by like 2x or 3x, that'd make it more on point with a papyrus fight also, i noticed you use a lot of linear movements and straight line movements, often resulting in jagged movements(like the star blazing attack). to fix this, you can: either make a folder(or whatever your program calls it) to put the object in. this folder will be responsible for either vertical or horizontal movement, but let's say vertical here. the object inside the folder will be moved with the folder. you can also move the object itself horizontally, without moving the folder. this allows you to make separate keyframes for both, and if you set the keyframes to ease in or ease out in specific ways, you can make smooth falling, smooth movement, and even curves.
@@bork6996 I’ve gotten a few comments about the speed of the attacks so I guess I’ll explain why they’re so fast here. So, the attacks being more difficult was actually intentional since Asriel is a boss monster, making him far more powerful than your average monster. The program I used to make this, it’s KineMaster if you’re wondering, was really laggy while I was making this due to the amount of layers, so the attacks weren’t as fast in the actual editor. So the speed was about 50% intentional, 50% not. Also, KineMaster doesn’t really have folders like you described them, so I don’t really know what to do about that.

@@Alphys135 I probably won’t make a full animation of Asriel’s aggressive neutral or genocide deaths, but I still have basic concepts for them. In aggressive neutral, It would probably play out basically the same as the actual animation, the only difference being that you say “no” to Chara’s offer and fight Asriel alone. Then you just attack him over and over until he dies. The fight would be harder since you’re fighting him alone without Chara there as extra HP, but other than that, the fights basically unchanged. As for genocide, Chara wouldn’t even be outside their house due to the fact that they are keenly aware of the human killing monsters in this route, their house would also be locked. The human would just proceed to the end of Snowdin and encounter Asriel. He’d try to convince the human through his kindness. From there, you can either spare him and abort the route or kill him. Like I said, I probably won’t make these into animations, but I still wanted to put the concepts I had out there, In case someone wanted to do something with them.
I love how beautifully the StoryShift Chara, Asriel and Frisk sprites are done.
