@@sadkidan4120 that's not true lol, the Loona project wasn't his to begin with, he was the one directing it sure but all the work and songs are property of BBC and Polaris, also because of lore it's important that each solo was made specifically for each girl and even for Hyunjin's case tho the song was not originally for her I'm sure they customized it and changed it to fit her, things like that can't be too messy specially with all the money being spent on the debut project.

i think a good way to describe the emotion behind this song is "desperation", a mixture of love, addiction and also sadness from not being able to be with that person, ar at least that until the end when the MV recontextualizes the song a bit and it becomes more of a celebration when Yves notices Chuu for the first time as she finally accepts her fate and eats the apple.

i think this was a perfect example of loving yourself first before loving someone else. the reason her apple was green is because she was still copying whatever yves does which is why yves wouldn't notice her (since yves is the all-knowing character of loona for eating the forbidden fruit). to teach chuu, she has to find a way to find herself and love herself in order to have her affection/acknowledgment reciprocated. hence, when she bit the apple, it turns red- and the strawberry, her designated fruit, appears and yves finally spends time with her. it's going to be a recurring thing in yyxy, by the way.
