They've moved away from exclusively idol music, which is fine and they still do, but they are experimenting melodic metal, rap, bossa nova, bardcore, electroswing... so nice!!!!

That opening was.... damn.... Towa suits the metal sound quite a lot, as she can go deeper as well to suit the tone of a song. Also, if you're wanting more metal covers from VTubers, if you've not seen it on a stream or something, obkatiekat and Apricot's cover of the song "115", which I think is a song from Call of Duty zombies or something? but you even get an example of a VTuber doing growl vocals, a female one at that, Froot(Apricot) surprised everyone with her growling. ^^ (Especially on her solo cover of Sunkiller.) obkatiekat is a cool VTuber who does a lot of music, mainly metal, playing instruments herself etc. Apricot(Froot) is from VShojo, the group ironmouse is in.

@@TheRatedOniChannel i checked out her Unravel, I didn't her her do any growls, which is what Froot is doing. But! She did a friggin scream, which is awesome as well! The terms are a bit iffy to me in English so it's hard to explain, but growls are the guttural almost animal like sounds, a different technique from the higher pitched screamo type thing Towa did in Unravel, but both are impressive, and still very unique for me to hear in Japanese artists, let alone a female one, and an idol at that.
The producer Yuyoyuppe, never misses. Even if not on the channel you should listen to his other work as well. Also, the reason the instrumentals probably remind you of Babymetal; is because Yuyoyuppe has produced a few songs for them such as Megitsune and Karate.
If you want more metal from Towa, the song "My Roar" from her EP is spectacular. It's a must listen if you haven't heard it yet. She's also going to be releasing a full album in the near future.

Day 70 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!

i still feel like something is missing or not made on point (referring to the instrumental, Towa's voice is always amazing) But i can get that, Hololive makes mainly j-pop, not heavy metal and not even metal really so... I think that the part i feel a bit wrong is the mix idk exactly what is but there is something maybe that the instruments are a bit over Towa's voice, blocking her powerful voice I also miss a bass and the guitars are really low volume in comparison to the drums freak not, i dont know what it is but i don't like it, i feel it like a failed attempt of being a brutal headbanger -this is my PERSONAL opinion, other opinions are equally valid as mine- also, this is a real headbanger but because what i said, i'm not considering it on the top, on the "brutal" category I dont dislike this song, i'm saying this cause after reading my comment i feel that lot's of persons could missinterpret my words, what I'm saying is details that made it a non-perfect song EDIT: and i must also say, all that is mostly for the first seconds, mostly from 0 to the second 21, i think it's that, i feel that her voice is under the instrumental and not over it but other than that, is a great song
