Absolutely marvellous to see Michael, Billy, Alexander and Dan arrive at the Chateau. Congratulations Stephanie on a mega delicious supper; everyone was blown away. The dining table was beautifully dressed as was the kitchen table loaded with delights for breakfast. I am sorry to hear such devastating news regards the structure of the most ancient part of the Chateau and also the Chapel being in worse repair than first thought. It is a dream of wonder to live in such a beautiful Chateau but with this comes the shocks and worry of architectural damage. Thank goodness it has been discovered before the walls may have fallen. I feel sure you will be able to solve the situation. No Chateau is simple to maintain and restore. Xxxx

It was so wonderful seeing your reaction when your saw Micheal, its wonderful the bond you have. Its was heart breaking when Amaury broke the news about the main joist holding up the floor above the grand saloon, and that its got so much worse since. You put in all your life to saving the chateau, and it fights you all the way.

The marvellous thing about Amaury is that he is well organized, careful. meticulous and when he does something he does it perfectly. He does not waste his time with a "temporary fix " nor "this short cut will suffice for now".
His level of pre- research to check out the potential options and then choose the best solution must be awesome.
When he tackles a task he has high standards and he does the right thing every time and completes the job perfectly and to a high standard. He is an absolute gem

I think that the structural integrity of the building is more important than the wall paper. As much as I know you love it, do what is easiest and makes sense for your cousin to not get stressed.
