I think it would be nice to see the moment when bosses drop loot, even if nothing good drops it's kinda fun just seeing it :) loving the dumb jokes too XD Also I think having 1 golem with your merc doesn't compromise the theme of running as a pure Bonemancer.
I've found 2. The first one ended up in a EBotD Greater Poleaxe and this one ended up in an ethereal herald of zakarum that I found on another one of these runs :) I don't remember how many Jah and stuff I've found. But I still have only 1 Cham drop as well
If you want to speed up Normal act bosses 1 point Clay Golem and 1 point Iron Maiden just curse and recast golem it's speedrun tactic but so effective cause Normal bosses are so slow with bone necro or necro at general
Thx. Hc is a lot more doable then people think. Just taking your time and playing it safe makes all the difference. I go very minimal because I know I can, but you can grind more levels and items for sure. When I started hardcore I went to almost lvl 90 before I finished the game and I would be wearing a ton of good items just from sheer grinding.

I like playing on the console, but the item management is so painful. I actually really liked playing on the PC with my PS5 controller. It's very convenient to do the auto potion right thumb stick click and I can switch to the mouse to do inventory management.

I'll never be a kid again seeing it for the first time in the 2000s. At least I can have a great company to endlessly bitch about the fkin 1 to poison and bone; -42% DWeb I got a couple of days ago.
A wand with +1 Decrepify on swap while fighting bosses is good enough! I personally don't use tele-staff as I'm not speedrunning for records and I play safe and steady through the game.
Best way is just always level as a summoner and collect gear to respect later, it’s not really a challenge to lvl as bone or poison to me it just wastes time you could rush through normal then farm cows for bases and countess for runes, nightmare act 1 devilkins drop tons of 4 sock crystal swords, i’ve found two in my consecutive nm runs this week.
@@thenuclearrabbit and now that I have the White wand, do you think its better to keep act 2 merc with freeze aura or is it a good idea to try act 1 with freezing arrow or act 3 cold merc? Im like 45 in act 2 nightmare right now
They really didint think throught with some of these spells in console version. Like that bone wall. Another bad is amazons decoy. its drops right on top of your toes so its quite bad. Cannot kite with it and if enemies are already on you or you try to run away and cast it, ama just stops and drops it on herself and enemies just gang bang you both :P Meteor is even blizzard are impossible to aim right. Have to choose skills that are console friendly
I play on console too. You're right some skills just aren't as good. You do have more mobility on console though and in some instances the auto aim is nice.
Blizzard has been massively dissapointing on console because you can't properly aim. Walls also have been less impressive. I have been enjoying console a lot though. Very impressively ported

I find splendor in a necro offhand to be incredibly powerful. Especially when it gives bonuses to your primary bone spells 👍

A teleport staff can save you from getting stuck inside your own bone prison

It's been a while so I don't remember for this run exactly but I usually just let the merc do his thing combined with corpse explosion

I thought about this run but you will use dim vision and spirit for bosses…
Do you try and grab a level 1+ decripfy aura -> would really help slow down enemies and keep you alive
That would have been nice but with the walls your already super safe.
I think 1pt in decripfy is worth it; even with its prereqs. Very good cc for hc. Also, baal doesn't teleport and spawn its clone if decripfied

I found bone prison way better using controller. It felt safer

I'd go for the holy freeze merc and try to find a 4 socket polearm to get him an insight for a second aura

You can do anything on console. Just have to get used to doing things a bit different.

Bone spear pierces and goes in a straight line so it ends up being much nicer to play. Spirit deals a bit more damage iirc though. Both work for sure
