Love the channel! I recently purchased an iFlight MegaBee. All I can say is I should have bought a GEPRC. I have yet to get it in the air. No manual, no instructions and no documentation. All I have is a very nice paperweight. Thank you Andy for all you do for the fpv community.
I started my RC time several years ago with planes on Spektrum, broke a lot of models and couldn't understand why. Got a Taranis after Bruce reviewed it and said it was good, never had a problem since.

Listen closely at 4:50 ! I am a pretty good model builder, but I managed to simply mix the screw sizes and didn't checked it again. The Quad was not powered on, but the capacitor had enough power stored to melt a motor winding when the screws touched it. Thanks Andy, good review.
Most of the reviewers of this model have mentioned the awkward placement of the USB connector but then just moved on. In my opinion, that's a huge deal. Thanks for giving it to us straight. 🤘😁👍
@AndyRC Great review! I pre-ordered the iFlight Cinebee 4K with Crossfire Rx before the GEPRC 4K was out, just thought it looked very cool. Sorta wished I had waited but making do with this model. My Cinebee 4K mods were: protective pad where the Tarsier video ribbon cable is exposed, longer batt strap, Ummagrip on battery tray, moving the battery connector away from the VTX ant cable to reduce noise, and removing the TPU Lollipop holder because it's too low and battery blocked VTX signal when turned around, so mounted the antenna higher to clear battery in low angle flight. The Tarsier is easy to access if you take off the top plate and rotate the cam cage forward and it comes completely off. No need to remove ducts. For flight stack USB access I just push the duct in a little before putting on/taking off the 90 degree USB adapter and no stress to the USB connector. Have flown it on 4S 450mah and it survived, but motors were pretty warm. After 30 packs or so best flight time is 3S 850mah at 4:30-4:45, 650mah 3S at 3:00-3:15. Motors were a bit warm so reduced D just a little and it helped. My 4K video has been smooth so far, but the VTX for flight is not the best where I fly in lots of trees, breaks up too much. Will replace with Unify Pro32 nano for 400mW. Always something better....(sigh)
DIATONE TEAM MR CABBIT !! it does not (yet) have prop guards but has a lot of good stuff ... Including BLUETOOTH !! I love GEPRC as well. My GEPRC CinePro will be here tomorrow. Yes these are not inexpensive toys. BUT if you look at the quality of the builds and figure in the costs of the parts they are a bargain. Andy I depend on your reviews ! I Thank You so very much for your hard work. You are very important to this hobby ! In my humble opinion YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST TH-cam REVIEWER. You are here for the common working man trying to spend our spare monies to the best . No Hype ! No "racer hype". And NO PROFANITY ! THANK YOU !!!
What’s up Andy! Another great review. Geprc has won me over when I bought a mark 2. Waiting for my phantom to arrive. Thinking about a cine pro but haven’t gotten into recording my flights or video really. Still have my DJI phantom 3 for such. Anyhow, I enjoy all your content/reviews and your musical talent!
Hi Andy, Thanks for a great review. Unfortunately I ended up buying the Iflight 4K already with the Frsky min xm+. It’s in the mail. I’m also new to this and bought the Jumper T16 RC. A couple of questions: (1) To bind the Cinebee to the T16 do I have to remove the top to get to the bind plug? (2) Since I have no idea if I received the wrong receiver, how would I know that I have the Frsky mini xm+ and not something else? Many thanks, Sam
you will have to see what its like when it turns up. There are some holes in the top plate. none of them lined up with the dsm receiver but they might the xm+. there is no bind plug its a button you will have to put your T16 into frsky X and then select FCC and bind with telem off, then plug the copter in via the battery while holding down the bind button. with the multimodules sometimes it doesn't get a bind and you have to play around with fine tuning the frequency so its worth reading up on that in the multimodual threads in forums. all the best
AndyRC Thanks Andy. From what you’re saying, to bind the controller to the Cinebee I have to take the top plate off to get yo the binding button! Is this a correct assumption? Cheers Sam
Hi I have a HGLRC XJB - 145 and 4S batteries, It's way too fast. What motors could I buy slow it down and gain longer flights ? I will also be putting a turtle HD camera in it as well. Thanks.
At this point I don't see the point of these 2" models. At that weight you might as well run a protected 3" like a shendrones squirt or flexrc colugo and build it with 1404s. When you are running a 650 3s plus the amount of power is already dangerous even with the ducts. Getting closer to buying that tarsier though, would be nice to know I was getting decent footage without the risk of smashing up my hd cam. Also you sound perky in this one, was there a sale on baked beans or something? ;)
USB connector is the main killer IMHO. Sometimes takes some tweaking to match the pilot skills to a iny quad especially. V2 will rock!!! lol Thanks Andy, love your work pal. Jeff
another great review Andy. Iflight are very new to the game in the case of pnp & bnf models and they seem to be completely mis-matching motors on most of there models. I love the frames and motors, also there flight stacks which are slowly replacing my hglrc ones. They messed up with the turbobee and the cinebee (in my opinion!) motors. far too high kv! like i say though, the quality is great for individual components but they need to go back to the drawing board with motor matching. I'm not buying into the whole 4k thing as i'm not a youtuber and for what i need the runcam split does it for me. Is it my eyes or does that image seem to have loads of fisheye?!
Weird how they went for lightweight and high RPM on this one. Should make it harder to fly as a cinema platform especially with the Tarsier. I think 16x16 on this size is a bit crap as most other frames this size use 20x20 so switching parts is more difficult albeit we are seeing bigger frames with 16x16 but they are ultralight racers. GEPRC smashed it too hard. Really enjoyed this review very seamless, and I'm glad you're getting the correct views. Many thanks Andy.
thanks very much thats the problem I think if I had reviewed this one first the outcome would have been the same however with nothing to compare to it would have been recommended with a few mods. But when there is a model just a few dollars more that has none of these issues you have to declare a winner.
I was only sent the prototype so its hard for me to comment but seems to have decent components. my only complaints were that there was no battery mat supplied in my package and the decal underneath would need to be covered up by a battery mat otherwise it would throw a battery
if the pads arnt stripped you can solder a usb back on directly sadly the pads were stripped here so the only option would be to manipulate the TX and RX pins from the smart audio and I think you need an stm32 flasher with a VCP. project blue falcon has a video on it (RIP)

Well My iFlight cinebee 4k is WAY better than my GeprC Cinepro 4k, one reason the iflight works out of the box, all the parts were there, bind no problem, flies no problem, video jello free, now the Cinepro oh did i mention the manufacturer put the wrong darn receiver in it, they crammed a crossfire in the bottom of the Cinepro 4k and expected me to tear it all apart to put the correct flysky receiver in it, that I originally ordered, really, GepRC Horrible customer service, and NO quality control, once I had the Geprc Cinepro 4k top off they forgot the tarsier wiring harness and all this time, nothing getting done from Geprc, I can have a blast flying the iFlight Cinebee 4k while the GepRC is a $265 paper weight in a box, nope never buy another Crappy GepRC again.
Man you're reviewing this like it's a freestyle quad. All I have to say is, kv isnt indicative of efficiency at all Andy. Throw the new motor output cap on it and you'll be able to run 4s on it no problem. Motors of different kv at the same rpm will always be equivalent. I really dont see your point. Ducts flexing doesnt matter as long as it doesnt affect the pids. Ribbon cable doesnt matter as you wont be tree bashing, the USB is kind of your fault, you could've chopped a bit of the duct away to make it easier. It understandable that you cant reach it as it doesnt have much real estate. Osd is a weird thing to even mention as you can just move it. Motors being hot is a tuning issue, damn! And 3 minutes on a 450 was and you're complaining about voltage sag??? Dude I love your videos but this one makes you seem like a Gep Rep ;p
what makes it not a freestyle model? top mount. HD camera. no props in shot. Heavier than a race copter, actually does freestyle maneuvers. put a 4s on 8300kv when they are too hot to touch on a 3s? good luck finding the correct cap and lipo to match the geprc before it fries? KV is not a deciding factor of efficiency in general you are correct now that you can add capping and things, but it is with this model from the box... its also an 1104 motor and not an 1105 which does make a difference coupled with the KV. You also have to make sure the motors are rated to 4s voltage. Just because a cap would make them turn slower doesn't mean they can tolerate the higher voltage. I never complained about voltage sag on 2s go watch back.. I also mention that the 450mah isnt big enough on 2s. The geprc did a 5 and a half minute flight time on its 2s equivalent RPM indoors. as for the usb snapping off I dont think i ever blamed iflight? I made the move... but If I did it then maybe someone else will and its not something any other video has mentioned.. I dont work for geprc just have both and ones a clear winner... I even showed the geprc models flaws? the protector has snapped trying to access the microsd card. I also love your comments and contributions to the channel but after watching the video and you still thinking the cinebee is the better model makes you seem like an iflight rep? ;)
My bad I misheard, I was under the impression they were the same stator size. A lot of your review makes more sense now! I personally see cinewhoops as a specified quad with cinematic capabilities. To do anything else with them is strange as there's so many more options out there for a good freestyle 3".

Eachine has a nicely lightweight 2" Tarsier whoop planned, at 66g grams. I really hope it will be any good!!

id say so yes
USB connector is the main killer IMHO. Sometimes takes some tweaking to match the pilot skills to a iny quad especially. V2 will rock!!! lol Thanks Andy, love your work pal. Jeff

the medal is people spending their money in the right direction :) but thank you means a lot

You could makeup for that usb with a bluetooth module on a uart maybe? i dunno if u could set it up without a initial connection.it has smart audio?
why don't you open the windows and fly a little bit outside? would be so nice to go outside to your garden and then enter again
Интересно сколько она стоит? Думаю тоже когда-то купить
I really want to see a dynamic stretch video tutorial. I know it cant be on youtube so maybe another platform? cheers!

How did you get smart audio to work? Or how do I verify the mw
Do you have any free drones?
Can i use lipo 850mah 45c? Help me pls.. 🙏🙏
What about the dreaded jello performance between the 2
i have this but i don't know bind in taranis x9d se T.T
How You control flight of this model ?
The kv choice really is a pity. The other issues could be fixed or avoided but I don't feel like swapping out motors on a brand new model.
Can you use that software on these??
no ton has to be a hero 6 ideally to use the software as it uses the gyro data
the Jeremy Clarkson thing LOL
Plz do an video about the 4S version
Please do a dynamic stretch video tutorial

Cool i have the cinebee 1080 p version and enjoy it
i can fix the usb issue if needed
I did know tarsiers have no distortion lens, but it seems to a bit distortion..
there are many options... if you watch my geprc cinepro video it details them
