In the fourth installment of Bahrain Institute for Pearls & Gemstones (DANAT)'s documentary, we take you on an amazing journey to discover the feeling of a generational reunion. Francesca Cartier Brickell meets with the families that her great-grandfather Jacques Theodule Cartier (who ran Cartier London until his death in 1941) encountered, and recreates key moments of his visit, including the iconic photo of Jacques Cartier with the pearling families.

In this photo of the descendants, from right to left, the recreated photo shows Fawzi bin Ahmed Kanoo, Ibrahim bin Khalifa Mattar, Francesca Cartier, Muqbel bin Salman Al-Thukair and Omar bin Yousif Al-Thukair (a grandson of the Al Ibrahim family).
