    I did not know that digging a hole can be that complex. I'm glad I saw this video. For years I was just digging a hole and putting the plant in and it grew. Thank you for the information.

    Digging any deeper than rootball is out! No one needs rootball settling, and no taproots grow downward again after tree or plants first year. So no need to loosen soil. Roots may want to stay in Amendment soil, so only have wide loosened zone for outbound roots to get running start and strike out into surrounding grade.

    I like the way he is doing this presentation however. he started to get real complex I'm accustomed. two gardeners on TH-cam always getting very complex about the simplest tasks but I understand this is cultural. keep up the good work
