I have to say that you're a very lucky women Mary to have Peter. I have developed medical issues that now cause it where I can not work anymore but I still have my mind. I went back together with my husband 7 yrs ago. I was told just b4 my a surgery 2 weeks ago that he doesn't want to be with me because he can't deal with the health issues and some other things. I am very happy with how well Peter cares for you.

That struggle when you want to close your eyes when singing worship music, but remembering that you still have to drive. That struggle is so real.
Peter you really are a beautiful example of how the Bible instructs husbands to love their wives like Christ loves us and you are a great example to men everywhere in being a loving husband. I just wanted to encourage you as I know men like to fix things and with chronic illness it's not easy to not be able to fix it. But you do a great job of being there for Mary and I love how you both have the attitude of enjoying each day to the fullest no matter what it holds. Have you ever struggled with that. My husband sometimes gets overwhelmed and more focused on getting thru a rough part than just enjoying that day whatever it holds. Would you have any advice on that. I think it would be awesome if you could speak on that issue as a caregiver. That way for those spouses that struggle with having joy in the rough times...we could pass all no the useful info.

I am so glad you are home, Peter and Mary, I'm praying that going off the new med will be enough to end your muscle spasms. I was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma which is a bone cancer. I have really felt God's perfect peace in all this, I have so many people praying for me which as you know is such a blessing. Next Wednesday, May 3rd, I will have surgery to remove my scapula(shoulder blade) along with the malignant tumor that has destroyed this bone. This will be a huge surgery but I have plans to decorate my hospital room with lights and such, and.... on my wall in front of my bed, I plan to put my new "Do What You Think You Can't Do" sign that you guys just sent me a couple weeks ago.Even with God's perfect peace, it still is scary to have cancer and a big surgery, but I am doing all that I can to make sure that my environment is cheerful and conducive to healing.Thank you Peter and Mary, and of course, Ollie, for encouraging your "People" to Trust in the Lord, and to do all that we can to live our lives to the best of our ability. By the way, you two need to sing another silly song and mess it up so I can tell you how it really goes ;), I haven't done that in quite a while!

I watched the video from two days ago right before I went to bed and that night I had a dream that I was diagnosed with CF. It was one of the scariest dreams I've ever had, it must be so hard for you. I'm so proud of your ability to power through all of this. Bless you and Peter, and Ollie. I love you guys so much. 💕

I have thought of Mary so much this week. I had a cardiac ablation that went long and my BP went low. I had to be intubated all night. My lungs are very sore and full of fluid. I cannot imagine the pain of living with this daily. I pray for a cure and relief for you.

Hello! I missed a few days of your vlogs and I was catching up today! I'm so sorry that you are having trouble from the meds. I'm allergic to alot of meds and I know how scary that can be! Y'all are still in my prayers! I am so proud of Peter for how he looks after you and Ollie! I am proud of you too, Mary for being so courageous! I know this fueling tube is going to help you! I had a severe reaction to amoxicillin and was hospitalized. I am so glad you guys called. Poor Mary. You are amazing Peter and Mary you are a conqueror. I am eating ice cream because my tummy does not want to take in actual food. Still recovering.

I had a similar reaction to what I thought was a gastroparesis medication. turns out it was low potassium causing the symptoms, and have been able to restart the med with no problem. Hope everything goes well!

Mary...I hope the twitching and spasming goes away. I know how annoying and painful it can be as my muscles are like that all the time. I have mild cerebral palsy, so it's from that. With medications, it's not usually too horrible, but I still have to deal with the tremors and spasms to some degree.
I really admire your ability to maintain a positive attitude. I know how hard it is to do that when you're dealing with so much. You're so lucky to have Peter by your side, and of course, Oliver. I really hope you're feeling better by the time you read this! 😊

Oh Mary, this is so crazy! Your health conditions and reactions are so similar to mine. I'm super sensitive to a bunch of meds, surgeries, medical treatments, etc. I go through so much too. And then I'm always giving my caregiver a adventure of a life time. In my house we're always saying the same thing, some people choose to go hiking for adventure but in my world it's medical chronic stuff that is the adventure. Hope thing settle down so you can get some rest and good rest too. Peter is amazing caregiver I wish I could find someone like him in the future. And Ollie is amazing too, I can't for get him!!
Oh boy, chronic illness is indeed an adventure! I had to comment today because it sounds like Mary is having restless leg, or she did one night in the hospital. Because medications have often had unusual side effects for me, i understand the struggle! Several have given me restless leg so bad that it was really incompatible with life! Keep fighting the good fight! Your are an inspiration. I particularly admire that you choose to be happy every day. "Do what you think you can't do" has become mantra, and I thank you for that. Gratitude!
