This process didnt work for my old ivanko 45s ,it had rust around the edges and center with alot of good paint on plates,just wouldnt blend at all no matter how much acetone and hours of trying to blend it so I bought krylon color max acrylic latex and ragged it on blending to perfection then used automotive clearcoat, frikin beautiful finish
