Nicely done. Not only was the content interesting, but the camera work, editing and narration were very professional. I'm looking forward to more Tormach videos.

Very nice, and you did a great job on this vid, not dwelling on the boring parts.
Five minutes of installing screws or drilling holes....lol.
Best of luck with the new machine.

Actually very good considering that this past week I've had a lot of prior commitments, so
that has taken a lot of time away. But I should be able to get it placed in the workshop early next week.
Looking forward to your videos on using the lathe. Thanks ... Path

I really appreciate this super video you put together... I just ordered a SlantPro and a 440.. due to arrive mid-March, so this was really helpful to get the "baby's room" together before they arrive. Also installed a 220V socket in my garage for my electric car and my welder. Luckily I have a much smaller electric car than you (Leaf) so more room for tools ;) cheers !

+Warren Bailey Awesome Warren! Yeah its a great lathe just I just got most of my tooling all setup and now im just figuring out how to use fusion 360 to post some gcode.

+S2Jesse Just another thanks for your videos. I've got my SlantPro and the 440 mill up and running and referring back to your videos helped a lot with many questions I had along the way. So many little things come up during assembly that don't seem to be documented (how to install shims on gang plate; how/where to run oiler lines, coolant lines; some parts included that seem to have no use, etc.; how to install small boring bars into a 1/2" gang block; how to seat a jacobs taper, etc.). Now that they are operational.. sooo much fun! Cheers!

Great video with a polished intro and snappy dialog. I have the same lathe with a similar configuration and am looking forward to seeing how you deal with tool setting on both the turret and gang tools, especially so far as a master tool selection and use goes. It would be great to see an in-depth video of Fusion 360 CAM for this lathe. If F360 simulates the Tormach turret and gang tooling as well or better than SprutCAM 10 does, I may just switch to F360, at least for the CAM.

Am I the only one that was nervous when the lathe was on the end of the liftgate with the operator standing right in front of it? Their insurance company would freak if they saw that!
Thanks for the video, great information on setting it up.

That turret looks way too heavy for such a little machine.

*facepalm* You completely skip over actually putting the turret on the face. What I've been searching for. lol
