He died a couple months before I was born. And I recently watched a few episodes of father Ted and got hooked to it. Wondering what else Dermot Morgan did, I checked his wiki and I was very surprised he died so young. To imagine what he could’ve contributed in the past few decades… But I’d like to think that people like him never truly die, he is still talked about and his work enjoyed by so many even today. That’s the best legacy an artist could ask for

In Canada we were fortunate to get programming from the U.K. and Ireland,and I remember Father Ted well. He had a short but well lived life,and gave us laughter when we needed it most. RIP Mr.Morgan. Thanks Sue.😇🙏

It was one of the saddest I've stood at, like dolores o'riordans, to stand at the foot of a grave of someone who's so talented who died too young really brings death right to you, no matter who we are, what we are worth our time comes and no one can save us..

Oh do Toms, this was genius comedy how he got away with it i don't know because some of the jokes were really a bad look for Catholic priests, I mean he had drunk priests, missing money, a priest who cursed and looked at women, it was just hilarious 😂

Hi Sue. I'm glad to see you finally found your way to Deansgrange, and what a nice grave to visit. Was this a fleeting visit or will you have another longer video in the pipeline? Several members of my family are interred there. You could spend hours in Deansgrange finding the graves of many famous people. One I have yet to visit is that of Richard Hayes, one of the most prolific code breakers in WW2. Another interesting grave is that of Joseph Edward Woodall who won the Victoria Cross in WW1. I knew him when I was a small boy but I only learned about the VC after his untimely death. Recently I found the grave of local man Captain James William Vaughan, Royal Navy who died in 1873 aged 44. He was 12 years old when he joined the navy and his extraordinary career is documented on his fine memorial.

I believe they are in or near Dublin, perhaps St Mary's Church of Ireland graveyard.

He was actually very hard to find, I think I walked in the gate, turn right then I think 2nd left, I'm not 100% sure, I used the trees and the wheelie bin as a guide from photos on find a grave
