The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced - a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. I was hoping for Gorr killing gods in these deleted scenes.
Right? We didn't really see how much of a threat he was throughout the movie :/
I don't think any deleted scene would have satisfied me. The real problem lies with the director's vision of the movies.
I like humor but this one tried to be cute.

I like that the motivations and character arcs are clear; I like the way it sets up Portman's Mighty Thor and expands upon the (very weak) love story of the original Thor film; I like how that accidental enchantment sets up Thor sharing his power w/the kids at the end; and I think the film is a visual treat -- from Indigarr to the Shadow Realm, the movie just LOOKS gorgeous. That said, yeah, there are WAY too many jokes, but when you've a FAMILY film about dead kids and cancer, um, yeah, I get why they may've over-corrected.

No the original film was 2hrs and 40 - 50 minutes long. Disney went nope has to be 2 hours long
This movie failed to mimic even 20% of thor ragnarok's greatness
Thor 3 wasn't a great movie at all it was an ok ok movie overrated movie in my opinion forced jokes overrated villain rushed screenplay
They had cut the best scenes and put the wrost ones.
In thor ragnarok they changed hela killing odin into odin peacefully die.
Here in love and thunder they changed from peaceful way of giving thunderbolt into forced and almost killing zeus.
its odd to say but Stormbreaker is THE ENTERTAINER of the whole movie .
Remember that Thor almost died creating that shit ??

I was literally just thinking and about to say the same thing, this fucker just wrote a screenplay/script of every fetish of Thor in his mind and concocted this shitshow.
Intro music was awesome
Those Zeus scenes are REALLY important -- w/out them, it looks like Thor left Zeus to DIE...in a movie where they're trying to STOP a GOD KILLER. I love this flick, but that really bugged me (that and the bad "Infinity Cones" joke).
Storm breaker couldn't fly with the 3 of them because Quill packed on a few pounds

Terrible film: the worst Marvel offering so far. The entire thing should have been deleted.... the only thing they managed to do great with it was the villain and his actual effects.
It was a good movie and very enjoyable. I got the humour it was overboard a couple of times but generally on point. Don't get why so many didn't like it anyway I did.

Because the story was suposed to be serious, but the movie wasn't and all the jokes where too flat and ended up killing the mood.

It was said that the movie was narrated by korg or korg perspective, some of it are not real i think.. and because of korg telling the kids.. i think he change it to more childish or korg was not that honest with the story so maybe the funny stuff didn't happend? And that gorr kills some gods but thats what i believe so i don't really know if its true. Its just my option so yeah.
Would have loved to see it from Thor´s perspective then instead.

See what ruined it is that they made jane foster like ms marvel and most other women in the mcu. Over confident as fuck and soemhow implied to just be default better in every way to their male counterparts and thats just false.
I want the true Taika Waititi cut of this movie. Dont care if it would be 2 and a half hours or 4 hours. What we got seemed like a dark cosmic comedic joke about killings gods and cancer. Tone was way too much all over the place and the action was amazin' but story tellin' suffered from over emphasis on jokes and jests at the expense of real stakes and story development. Loved the outfits and the world of the gods but these extended scenes with a more moral and helpful Zeus should be in their especially when setting up a live action version of Marvel's Hercules. They honestly should have just cut those annoying @$$ goats out altogether and gave us more time together with Thor and GotG on galactic adventures. Found much a love/hate relationship with this movie.
