Late fall squid fishing at Fort Wetherill State Park in RI (11/10, 2023)

Late fall squid fishing is hot in RI. I heard that people caught many squids here last night but biting was so slow tonight. We started squidding at the Goat Island bridge but we caught nothing for two hours. Then, we moved to the Fort Wetherill State Park, Jamestown. There were many people squidding but biting was slow as well at this spot. We caught about five squids for ~ six hours but enjoyed the night with good meals and friends.

예, 마리수가 아쉬운 날이었습니다. 그 전날에 오셔서 110마리를 잡았다고 하던데, 오늘은 오징어가 없더군요. 땡스기빙 23일부터 26일까지 캠핑카를 하나 랜트해서 3일 동안 해봤는데, 오징어는 없었습니다.

Squid fishing is possible from late April to late fall in RI. The best season is in May.

Squid season is different year by year. Usually from late April or early May.
