Thanks Sanjay. Books are subjective though! If I liked one it may mean that it “spoke to me” for that time and place. You may be different! Don’t let my review stop from buying the book. (I’d say borrow it first from a library if you can get it; or from friends) then read, decide if it’s right for you or if you want it on your shelves.
Im currently reading a non-fiction book but it’s unlikely I’ll review it simply because I seem to have a physical reaction every time I pick it up to read it because I simply don’t resonate with it at all. However, it’s a popular and well known book that others loved!

Thanks for sharing your experience with your personal and professional knowledge management. The part about separating between personal and professional (Evernote and OneNote) was especially useful.

Thank you for watching and commenting. Over time, I've been seeing that I've been erring towards keeping more personal notes. The reason? It's unlikely I'd stay in the same organisation or career and if I leave a company, my OneDrive and all my corresponding notes from a professional work sense will get wiped by the IT administrators. So, anything that I can use more widely, and apply across industries, I'll keep in my personal notes (obviously nothing related to client notes, private, sensitive or confidential information). I'm talking about general topics, articles, references etc that are related to my industry or field of endeavour, all personal.

I think the power of this system is to make you able to relate all your knowledge no distinction of if its work or personal, all is in same brain, and relations between all your ideas is the way to get new knowledge.

Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. It certainly is a good system for doing that and of course it requires consistency for keeping up, maintaining it to see the value.

One of the better reviews of the book and Zetterkasten!

This sounds quite like a "commonplace book" in the way that Ryan Holiday and Robert Greene do them - they use notecards by theme/topic as well. Interesting!

Thank you for listening and watching. There are many note taking systems however I had never used the one card one note approach before. I’ll be giving it a go integrating into my own note taking process this year to see if there’s a positive change for me (increase in memory recall; increase in blog posts written).

How has this system worked out for you 8 months on? How does this work UPwards?

I'm still continuing the system but now 8 months later, I'm actually using it to incorporate into my blog writing. I've been writing way more.

Why does this book has two types of a book cover - one is that you are showing in the video and the other one is with a blue cover.

Same book - one is a screenshot only as I read it via an ebook. Thanks again.

    So comprehension?

However, the rest of the video leaves a lot to be desired - just not enough on Ahren's book?

Yeah I get that so thanks for that feedback. My TH-cam channel is a bit weird. It relates to what I'm learning and working on and integrating some kind of learning experience to everything that I do eg reading, experiments etc. It's not a YT channel where I expect people to subscribe, follow, like or even share my posts - I'm totally not interested in that because I'm not building a business. The reviews are simply me 'learning out loud' and my YT channel a visual portfolio of the stuff I'm dabbling in hence why it may be unlike a review like others out there do. I do appreciate the feedback though and thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
