There's more to this postgame than I expected, I figured it would be some little extra scene but there's a whole other chunk of story here. I got stuck at the normal final boss, party kept getting shut down with abyss so I couldn't even get the 1,000 DP weakening spell off on it. If there's this much more plot to it then it makes me want to grit my teeth through the tedious soul transference loops to get strong enough to handle the black page bosses and final boss so I can experience all of this properly and not only in a youtube video. The boring grinding on ringa metallias burns me out quick so I never did any soul transfers, I didn't expect the final boss to be so brutal compared to how the other bosses were as you progressed through the story.
You probably already figured it out, but commenting just in case another person has the same question: you need to defeat all the optional superbosses in the game to unlock the true ending.

This is an alternate world, it's not changing anything you did in the full main game.

How do you even get to post game? When I started the game after beating it, it said "start a new story". I didn't have that option to start a trial.
