Hi, Corfu Veg & Fish market is in the middle of Corfu Town few hundred metres from San Rocco Square. Cannot miss it. Open about 7.30 to 2.30 ish Monday to Sat. Closed Sunday. Well worth a walk around as many Characters work there.
Hi Mathew, Thanks for your comments, I remember when the Roda Crown was open. We will try and get down to Kavos a bit later in the season. Keep well, Big Al
George Alexiou , Hi George, Yes there are plenty of late night bars. They do not open until late and are quite expensive.(To me living here) There are several night clubs on the Port road at the bottom of town as you go out of Corfu, Best to take a taxi to them as it is difficult to give simple directions. I just wonder at what resort you are staying? to be more helpful. Big Al
i'm staying at my brothers house but because he works, he will not be able to take us around and show us many different places, which is acceptable. So i just wanted to have a bit of my own knowledge before i get there. Another question; Are there any beaches close to the town centre within walking distance as that is where i will be staying.
George Alexiou Hi George, You have got me on that one, I am in the North where we have great beaches. But checkout www.agni.gr or you can type a Google search Just Corfu Town, and you will be swamped with info. Have a great stay. All best Big Al
Hi, Thanks for watching. Well in the summer most places like to see tourists, Corfu Town has plenty of churches and history, but, not really a holiday place, So I suggest maybe Acharavi which has nice beaches, close to Pantokrator Monastry, and has a Museum and churches within reach. Big enough town to spread yourself. Hope that helps. Big Al.
Thumbs up for another great video from Corfu ! Thanks Al and thanks Al !
We're off to Corfu on saturday, your video has helped plan a visit to the town Thanks Gents
