Les than 100 euros is a great price. Asking prices on Reverb are considerably higher; basically, you want to wait for an Ebay auction. I found the 1U 12/24 for 72 euros that way. I stiil need to fix it: the unit appears to work and respond to MIDI, but no sound comes out.
Wow, I bet it was quite a lot of work. From the scematics I looked at it seemed like you pretty much had to built them from schratch. No preassembled parts, lots of soldering?
@@rejectedsynths boy it was a lot of work! Zero pre-fabricated stuff. You had to solder every single transistor, resistor, etc onto the voice boards. And there were 12 of them, for each tone. And all the wires were single wires. But it was fun and I learned a lot! Built my first Formant synth when I was 15 or so. Also completely from scratch 😅
another german gem- hohner PK250 was also made in the bohm factory!! cem and ssm analog chips in it!! you can buy it cheap as chips in germany :) id buy one but theyre impossible to find in Canada. I see there are lots listed on ebay kleinanzeigen :)
I've actually got one a while ago complete with travel case for 50€. I've even seen them listed for as low as 20€ here and there. People have absolutely no idea what's inside these keyboards. I plan on doing a mod in one of my next videos. Getting inidividual controls for ADSR and filter is pretty easy on these.
This (PK250) is not true, but the Hohner Organ D92 was offered asca DIY-Kit by Boehm and they named it Musica Digital 100/500 (Keyboard/Organ). The organ was as a Portable model available (MD500T), later there was also an additional Midi-Kit for it available (only Midi Out without Velocity).
I have 4x9 and 12/24. Too bad there is no editor for 4x9

Have you tried factory reset? It made my 12/24 work again
