My SL experience consist on screaming STAY BEHIND THE CADES!!! 24/7 and absolutely no one listening, naturally this results on queen taking 2-3 marines on every schreech and marines loosing to attrition

The snowball effect is insane, the T3 Cap raising with pop causes irreversible damage once you take 10-20 marines

But yeah it is damn impressive what strong leadership can do. My best rounds on either side have been with great frontline leaders who shouted to high heaven when to push, when to get back, and got 50+ people to focus on the goal. That’s what I’m loving about RCM14 so far. Imbalanced and buggy maybe but not enough to overcome a leadership (and definitely in part, combat) skill gap. Wish I’d recorded it because as an FTL with a great SL we finished the whole round with only 1 or 2 squadies dead, multiple queen and big xenos kills, and super high morale. Fun times all around on RCM14. Thanks contributors and maintainers and weird people who actually read comments
I wish the xenos had more unique designs, but the gameplay is very fluid.
More xenos coming almost every week, same with marines
I think starcraft casters got it right. At all points an rts usually starts to break down into pure macro at the higher levels of play.

Something I like about this strat is that it's hard to blind-nerf it like Wizden does with any random Liltenhead video, because it is performed with great synergy from most advnaced classes. A great show of the kind of teamwork I remember finding only in CM13, Foxhole, and EVE before.

server has a capacity of 250, it usually peaks during weekends at around 200-220. Big content drops usually double this playercount and they open the second server.

Wait, I know what's missing that causes this strategy to be quite effective, doesn't the queen roar also stop movement for all nearby xenos in CM13?
Idk if it’s just queen sight or that’s what all aliens see at 0:56 but damn, that’s kinda crazy how people who’ll have info like that and still loose
All xenos can see it, lots of people push without thinking and die from it

Who could have guessed that allowing multiple xenos to occupy the same tiles without bodyblocking would completely break the game
Marines still win very often, the body locking isn’t a massive issue imo. Xenos also cannot hit targets when swarming them if they are too close together

BOO-YAH, ANOTHER VICTORY FOR MARINES. But seriosly, why the fuck marines are so sad. It's either highpop instarush queen-dead scenario or they die and nothing else. Kinda sad. TGMC felt a lot better in this regard, imo.
I guess its cuz its still raw as fuck, I played on the russian CM14 that had its own build (a lot earlier than the wiz had put it out for public)
Imho the speed of the xenos and the responsive actions you can do as a marine make the gameplay 10x more enjoyable than whatever the fuck is this slowpoke “infinite stun” bullshit they have on the official build.

Which like, isn’t the biggest deal IMO, since there are normally 4* the xeno pop worth of marines
@@ARMOK. maybe, but its still a pretty easy to use mechanic and not exactly exciting, if the marine could at keast use his pistol or something while being dragged to his certain and slow death I wouldnt be too salty about it, as is rn I think a marine that gets dragged like that can safely alt + f4 because he cant do anything.
