I love going to libraries and sitting near where other patrons are reading newspapers and turning pages. It's so relaxing and dream-like. Unfortunately, for now Covid's put the kibbosh on that :(.

Sorina, it sounds like you have some of the same objections that I do to today’s out of control “ASMR”. I think the “artists” (not all) are seeing a way to... well, ...you fill in the blank. I can’t presume on motive. I was amazed and surprised at the response to my low quality mic recordings. I was seriously just making them for myself and my grandchildren. Then Lo and behold! What a blessing! I am actually making money now and have a new microphone. Thank you for commenting. People like you make this venture worthwhile.
I used to wonder what this tingling feeling was I get in my head when someone was studying next to me in class, or the peaceful playing of toys/games by my nephew. Then I found out about ASMR. This is one of the only videos out there that still gives me tingles. Thank you so much for doing this and God bless!

When my children played with their toys next to me quietly... unfortunately it sent me to sleep. Only I don’t get tingles. I had a couple of really great Lego videos that I had to delete because it was too enticing for children. But TH-cam let me keep my building blocks video. Love the natural feel that you have created by doing something genuine (by looking up the words your unsure of), the variety of paper giving different sounds, especially love the dictionary, the way you sometimes flick just a small amount of each page from the top corner and no talking! Not only are the sounds in this video so relaxing, but this is actually a good idea. When I read a book and don't know what a word might mean I'm going to start marking it and looking it up. It would be a great way to expand vocabulary 💖
Absolutely! And it’s so worth the time. But retaining the information is another matter. LOL! That’s my weakness which is why I must write it down and even in spite of doing that I still can forget. 😂🤗

I've been coming back to this video again and again in the past week to relax me. Ah,i wish i have myself an old aged papered dictionary like that,the smell always made me feel excited and motivated for some reason.
