Veera is my favorite song❤ Chitra madam’s voice is heaven, and then the chorus - just transports you to that moment in history.

The 5 part novel by the great Kalki has been prepping the whole tamil-reading world for decades. The simultaneous creation of a grand scale theme filled with thousands of tiny pieces of details that went into creating the Ponniyin Selvan world is not something that is created often. And then we need a MR and an ARR to come along. In short, this movie is a masterpiece the likes of which we may not see in our life time. I desperately hope I am wrong but I am afraid I may be right.
