I have never imagined any foreigner would ever give any reaction on evergreen songs especially 60s ones..As they are always handpicking those which has around 500M views or juss really trendy.. Let's start watching their reaction on something different from what most of the reaction channel does ig.. If u want to give more reaction on evergreen songs.. Songs before 80s are actually great with old vibes and a lot of diverse arts..And especially black & white songs are more great than these but they are more longer than these themselves!
My father was a big fan of Shammi Kapoor and as a 20 year old, he had managed to see the audio recording of this song in the sound studio. His memory is of seeing multiple rehearsals with Rafi Sahaab practicing the variations with the orchestra and Shammi Kapoor sitting in the Recording room and nothing what moves he could do to match the vocal emotions. During the takes, Rafi is moving his voice and his head to suit the tempo and the mood and Shammi Kapoor is on his feet doing the moves.... I'll always be envious he saw that before his eyes.

There is no one ever like Shammi Kapoor either in Indian film industry or in Hollywood. He is far far more than Elvis Presley in terms of the treasure of work he left . You guys must explore his best work. This song is not his best work. You must react on "deewana hua badal sawan ki ghata chhayi"...." " Isharo isharo me dil lene waale" " O haseena zulfo waali jaane jaha" and " dilruba Dil pe tu ye sitam kiye jaaye".

Shammi kapoor is my favourite old Hindi cinema actor. Although people think he didnt have the typical actor qualities because brooding, tragic heroes were popular back then, but i find him the most entertaining i feel the same contagious energy when watching akshay kumar, an actor who doesn't take themselves too seriously and isnt afraid to make fun of themselves, also acting as comic relief in many movies when it wasn't popular for main lead to do that.

Whenever my mom and dad visit on weekends, if we decide to watch old films its always a shammi kapoor classic , rarely we watch dev anand or dilip kumar films.

Shammi Kapoor was our Elvis Prestley!! Oh, the effort he used to put in his songs!! When you see him dance, you also need to pay attention to the playback singer, a legend in his own right, Mohamed Rafi!! Rafi Sb. used to sing Shammi's songs in a way that was unique to just him which made the lipsync so real!! Fun fact: As you would know every Indian song has at least 2 stanzas, and could go to 4 as well...and Shammi never repeated his steps in a song, always came up with a different head throw or something of that kind!! Such legends...such nostalgia!! Try reviewing the title track of the movie "Junglee" where Shammi is in his absolute elements...you won't be disappointed!!

YES YES YES....LOVE LOVE LOVE Shammi Kspoor ji, the face of M Rafi sahib, greatest singer. Used to watch Shammi ji movies growing up with my grandparents. He was one a kind, very unique, hot and handsome, had his own style of acting, never rehearsed and was his own dance director/choreographer. He was funny and lovable and SRK got that handspread from him. He did many of his own stunts and was fondly known as the Elvis Presley of Bwood. He was also the first male item dancer in a song he did in an open shirt drenched in the rain 😍. Although not a thespian, you will never be disappointed with any of his movies or his songs, he’s a deligh to watch, can’t sing his praises enough. You guys should definitely watch all his songs and his movies, even if you don’t react to them. AN. EVENING. IN PARIS is the essence of Shammi Kapoor with some great songs and cabaret numbers by not Helen but Sharmila Tagore. He’s truly an entertainer through and through ❤️❤️❤️ Thanks for reacting to him.

Would like to recommend 2 unique dance numbers done by another Kapoor legend and great dancer right up there with SriDevi, Karishma Kapoor. AANKH. DIKHAUNGI is a break dancing cabaret number and she was captivating and mesmerizing. DEEWAANI DEEWAANI where she danced barefooted on broken glass in a fit of jealous rage....she was fantabulous, very magnetic. It was only done 1 time before by merna Kumari in the 60s.
