Thank you for this video! I have the same microwave but a bit newer, mines only 4 years old. I went to open the door yesterday, and it barely opened. It's not the happy pop it usually gives. Im releived to see its not going to be some impossible to find expensive part which is only availible at a small shop in a remote town in New Zealand. I can make this fix no problemo now that i understand what it is. Thank you!

You really should post a revision to this video. That part can be replaced in about 10 or 15 minutes without taking the microwave off the wall. The front panel lifts up and out allowing the access you require
