RIP to me. Got DQd the other day for asthma even though I supplied documents proving I dont have asthma anymore and haven't had any symptoms for at least 6 years... This really sucks, I have been planning on the Air force for 2 years now! I don't know what to do :(
You can try to ask for a waiver to see if it goes through the General Surgeon and he can overturn the decision if you can proof that you don't have that conditions currently. If your recruiter bullshit about it go to another recruiter until you find one who is willing to work the waiver. I will go for a senior recruiter since they tend to know more and help better. You never try until you give it a try. Good luck!
Yeah my recruiter said that I could basically "appeal" his decision if I went and got MORE paperwork proving I don't have asthma. Sucks because I have been getting paperwork and waiting since March.. and I already gave paperwork that says I don't have it. OH well! RIP to my Junior Ambassador Program! :(

Another tip, look for distractors in the question. Most military questions have a distractor which has nothing to do with the correct response. Once you know what the distractor is eliminate it from your information and the answer becomes more clear. Also, eliminate those answers which were obviously wrong, and concentrate on the two remaining responses. This is especially true when I was taking WAPS promotion questions.
I was 17, going in 9 days after graduating high school, Jun 9th. As soon as I turned 17 in the previous Dec, I immediately joined DEP, so for my remaining six months in high school, I was acquiring time in service credit. Don't know if this is true now but was when I joined many, many years ago. Good luck.

PS: by the time I was 23, I was serving my second overseas tour in England and been a SSgt (E-5) for two years (5 1/2 yrs time in service).
