Sedritz is definitely an underrated singer. He should be acknowledged MORE. I brought him to the Fantastic Violinaires as a guitar player knowing he could sing as well and they didn't recognize his talent. Then, I brought him into Lil Blair & the Violinaires as a guitar player, again knowing he would be able to help in the background. He was tight with the harmony. At this time I was singing top. But, I heard how keen his voice was. I said, "wait a minute ..."!
BTW ... do you know that Lil Blair is an outstanding top tenor singer, too? It puts me in the mind of the Dixons. That guy could sing a squally lead and flipt to the cleanest, highest tenor you ever heard.
I told him, "YOU take top and I'LL sing the second." I was FLOORED! From that time on, on the really high songs, we had Sedritz switch to top and I sang the second (which everybody knows even the baritone and second tenor for the Violinaires has ALWAYS been sky high). Often, we switch during mid-song. Not only does this save the voice, but it makes for some crazy sounds to hear the voice flip that way. Robert Blair would have been proud to hear Sedritz today.
I also failed to mention that Sedritz sang with The Brooklyn Allstars for many years ... wonderful guys there ... I love them. But, I always thought Sedritz sounded like a Violinaire.
Great, that's just great. I can't believe that guy hit those notes. He's one of the greatest of all times. Keep up the good work Sedrick.

Now that's a classic Violinaires/Evereadys cut you just don't hear anymore. Only true Violinaire fans know about that one.
