Giving is wonderful, however balance is paramount. Many illnesses come to overgivers!
My thoughts about why relationships struggle so much is exactly that. When you are in a relationship because you need them to give you something you become insecure and fearful and controlling and the other person becomes defensive and avoidant. The best relationships are those where you don't expect or ask for anything from that person. And that's a great analogy, if you can give what you need, then you'll also receive it. Of course that might not logistically work for every single scenario. Like you can't give money you don't have and also get money, but in that case you give something of equal value to receive in equal value. But then you shouldn't expect to receive it just because you give unless it's a mutual contract like being employed. Expectation is the cause of misery and suffering.
My Leo Moon was nodding through this whole video! I FEEL SO SEEN! I will literally put myself out for others so much just for the validation, but that can be exhausting and then I start to feel empty. "Venus in Leo has to do with whether or not people see you as the emerald. The rare high priced item." 👏

On the 16th, the Sun will be at 24 Cancer and the Moon passes 25 Scorpio. I know most people may not enjoy a Scorpio moon but it is different for me.

This is exactly what I’ve been going through. Loving someone unconditionally who betrayed my trust and trying to move forward together in a way of, “what do you need from me.” I ultimately think the, “what I need isn’t happening now” idea led to the split in the first place. Anyhow, spot on and thank you for the validation and guidance as always.
I believe we can step into love through action for the collective (good of the whole), while distancing ourselves from interpersonal relationships that no longer serve us due to ideological differences. I can’t give to those who don’t want the same for the collective if they are not willing to do the work. They can be creative in how they express that, but it still needs to be expressed.

Really loved this episode! With all these intense energetic combinations, I just wanted to share that my experience so far has been very simple/understated. I felt Neptune trine Venus last couple days in that my area was feeling like the beach- which is where I grew up. The humid air, the breeze, the smells, everything felt like I was next to the ocean when I wasn’t. It was just dreamy! This motivated me to get in shape because I’ll be visiting the beach soon 😁in order to feel better about my body, I need to be more restrictive & disciplined. So that dreamy Venus leads right into Plutonian power…and hopefully Mars action.
I'm with a leo mars and I just said that to him. You only do or give when you feel like you will get praise or if it's for you. If your help or effort has nothing to do with making you feel good you won't bother. I'm an aqua venus and Mars and I'm like acts of service are important for me.

It's interesting to me also that we are in this deep Venusian inquiry into self-worth, reciprocal, gift-based exchange almost at the mid-point of Venus' synodic cycle that started in Leo last year. Venus is also appearing as evening star after her underworld journey, right as she opposes Pluto. A great opportunity to reflect on everything Adam discussed with this newly born, newly wise Venus. As evening star, she's willing to consider the whole concept of "sovereignty" from a softer gaze. I have never seen your channel before, I already knew this weekend may be tricky, as I have mercury in scorpio 12th house 21 degrees. But what a trip that talk was. I make jewellery, one off bespoke pieces, for the first time in 12 years, someone who commissioned me to make a very beautiful piece from emeralds and gold went to some jeweller who told her it was worth way less than even the materials cost me. She has turned around and said she wants her money back etc. I knew that this weekend was the weekend where she was going to be very confrontational. I have honoured me commitment to make her a beautiful piece from the materials she chose in the design she chose. So, for me I am clear. But it means drawing a boundary when I would rather be soft and fluffy. Amazing talk including the gems, truly.
I watched another video just before this and what you’ve written sounds very similar to a scenario described in that video. It was the Astrology Hub video ‘Prepare for the Mars-Uranus conjunction: Astrological Insights’ by Christopher Renstrom.
It was Sagittarius (starts at 45:24). He has a summary for all the signs in the description and Sagittarius mentions ‘boundaries’.
(I actually watched all 12 signs and I’m not a Sag so I can’t speak to this scenario but I had to be unusually firm with someone in the business field on Monday).

When I was a kid I had a book Called Socks For Super that was a version of this story, it's still one of my most favorite books from childhood, I know read it to my grand babies 🦁I believe the Story your refer to is called The Gift of the Magi, Clarissa Pinkola Estés has a great short story book that tells this story it's called The Gift of Story A Wide Tale About What is Enough. 🌌

Wow, it was a wierd weekend. Always expect the unexpected. On Saturday, when i finally had time to hike in nature and celebrate new moon, with the sun, moon, and Venus on or near my moon and Uranus in Cancer, i had to get out because last years new moon in Cancer was beautiful and magical. I felt like I'd planted seeds for a dreamy future. This time, car overheated and i may have been witness to a violent crime, and had to call 911, while still stranded. Ot did turn into a huge learning experience, like what the drill may be, and what to look for and do, etc. if car overheats, and i can fill grandson in, whose first car is same as mine, only newer. And i did review a relationship with a mechanic's son from years ago, doing alot of clearing on it, and s node in libra where my Saturn/ Neptune conjunct is. My Pluto and s node in Leo, 7th, so curious on what that may bring. Your talks earlier last week were very helpful and i felt like i was in line for something. Now, so far so good. I did alot of anxiety releasing and opening up to bigger picture. Then i thought, mabey this is the seeds sprouting and pushing through the soil. I kind of get that feeling more now, when moon's in AQ, with my N node there, in first house. Almost like a painful growth spurt that i missed growing up. Love your program. @@janetlee4421 It was a weird weekend indeed! I did a lot of driving back and forth from Atlanta and saw so many cars that were in accidents or broken down on the side of the road. It seemed like a lot more than usual. In addition, when I picked up my mother-in-law from Augusta, she was shaken because the police had just evacuated her apartment earlier that day as she witnessed a foot chase through her yard as the shooter from a mall shooting the day before happened to live next door! It felt like a build up to the conjunction next week.

Oddly, I'm reading Cindi Dale's little book on root chakras and she talks about mini chakras below the root that are negative, like evilish, and I guess some people have broken down under stress and acting on it, from their lower chakras. This transit (Venus-Pluto) will get my favorite discovery which is the song/video Ratatata from Babymetal & electric callboy. Fits very well, and if it doesn’t bring you joy, there’s definitely a deep deep issue that needs addressed.
For me, figuring out the thing with geometry and numbers where the linked charts in western Hellenistic would be natal/fortune: I’ll be hammering this section out in courses strongly this week. We got the context.
I’ve made jokes about my 11th being fortune 5th, the obvious ones. But to refresh myself on those ties, my chart is easy as it just flips around. Leo is fortune 6th that I view in general as selfless service to others and Aquarius flips around to the 12th. To me, 12th has a tendency to self focus and isolate, why it’s opposite to 6th. So there’s probably a very useful symbolism where 12 and 6 are connected by inversion. But I’ll have to give myself a fortune refresher as it’s become much more relevant. I’m glad I don’t HAVE to learn an eastern system but it also takes nothing away for the validity of the East. It’s just not critical in terms of topic right now.
But I can sort through the geometry and math with the proper associations converting to the Hellenistic systems.
Let me look, my memory is fuzzy.. what would associate in this system with Pluto would be what’s referred to as the reverse archai. An inversion of time and personality: musicians with strong Pluto placements often work with so much noise and distortion that the original harmony has lost its “identity”. The time part, an association with a nuclear explosion which is actually destroying the foundations of time/space. Good times.

Getting what we need by loving and generosity....Yes! As i'm awaiting this Mars/Uranus conjunction on my natal Jupiter in the 1st house opposing my natal Sun and Mars in the 7th 😅 I'm actually trying to hold this philosophy in mind and not let it be a lure into selfish actions. We shall see!

I appreciate that you point out the positive sides of (Venus in) Leo. As Virgo rising with 2 planets in Aqua it's hard to get along and express Leo energy. I have always found them to be too ego focused and with strong narcissistic traits. I like to broaden my mind and be less judging.
Uranus and Mars are also on my Ascendant. Thank you for mentioning this personal part. I'm asking the same questions right now. "How can I embody the Mars/Uranus transit in the most beneficial ways?"

I'm not sure how hard or triggering this dynamic will play out for me personally. I have a natal Sun cazimi Mercury Cancer 29, 59' degrees and Moon in Scorpio. I'm a little worried, because I know what this symbolises for me natally. With Pluto in play again as well as the mix of Mars Uranus conjunct, I'm hoping for...a little mercy!

We have been so 'programmed' to have such high expectations of receiving. It is reflected in the divorce rates being so high. When Pluto opposed my natal Venus in Cancer in 2018, my mother passed. It seems to bring in death and loss (or thoughts of it even if not literal). So prepared for that. Along with my full moon b day the 22nd where Pluto has been moving back and forth over that Sun point for years. Almost done with that....almost.. after November.... Lord, lord.

Being in a 12 step recovery group, my mind was telling me to try to share today instead of letting things happen naturally… I believe that I could have probably just stayed quiet the whole time, didn’t really feel the need to share but I decided to anyway. Been feeling the “martyr” thing you were talking about, not trying to be a martyr but sometimes when I share and I’m just supposed to keep quiet I think it ends up looking like that’s something I am trying to be… lol not sure that I was intending. Being in recovery and knowing about the transits. A little bit frustrating but grateful to be in the loop. Still figuring out my Gemini Venus and how to speak, this year’s solar return chart looks pretty promising. 6/30/90. Learning how to love and speak to someone in a more intimate way and actually listening to them can be hard, learning who to have boundaries with and where. Manipulation.
Hope that it opens me up more to love than a breaking of the mind or worse…! 😅
