Hey Spanky, this is one of your most popular videos. The sequel would probably do really well too. So just a reminder that there are 4.6K watchers anxiously waiting.....Thanks !!
I know. I have to finish the edit and post it up and then I need to finish the top in the last episode. It’s so much work and time. The time is killing me. Thanks so very much for your support and feedback my friend -Spanky
What a Great idea. Using your old top for your jig ! I can’t wait for the next video. Mike my top has the snaps on the inside & your always wrestling with them to put it together ( of course I the rain😅) very good as always Build Thanks Mike
I thought I would mention that I am not a tire kicker. I realize that the top won't fit every body out there. I like the top and plan to make my body fit the top. I am not in love with the back of my cab but i really like your top and I have the ability to make the body fit the top and look right. The look right part is what I am after. I had seen your video on making a top and am anxiously awaiting further installments. I have a heavy duty sewing machine but it isn't a walking foot model. I would still like to purchase your top even though you are showing us how to build one. I am currently building a 32 roadster pickup, a 32 roadster, a 32 5 window, and a 34 3 window coupe. I am considering building a 34 pickup as it should have been done by Henry. I will modify a 34 3 window coupe body and build a smooth side bed. If it looks cool, and why wouldn't it ? I will then make a mold.
Actually working on it today. I’ve come up with a new and hopefully better solution to bending the tubing so it comes out the same on every top. Please stay tuned, coming very soon
Have I missed part two of this video. I gathered a great deal of information from this video and purchased material and tools. But before I start on my 32 roadster I would ask if there is more that may help me. Thanks for all the other content on your channel.
I was the second guy in this country to manufacture and sell low cost CNC plasma systems. That was roughly 30 years ago I have taught hundreds of people how to draw and make code. If you are having a problem you need to be able to send me a CAD file so I can see where your mistake is. Today most companies have you login to their server so they can manipulate your file. I don't do enough tech support to warrant that.
@camcutcnc my first problem is no software. I’ve had the table for 3 years and the software went out before I could learn it. I need to find new software with a easy learning curve for a beginner
In my experience of teaching thousands of people to do this, if you practice drawing like I say, you will remember it. I have a friend here in Ocala who has been doing metal art for about 6 years, he still calls every few months when the machine frustrates him. It is a lot easier to be successful if you have tech support rather than being frustrated.@@SpankysHotRodsandCustoms
@@richardhoutman5261 yes I working on doing that. I’m still trying to get it all worked out. It want be a sure fit kit but one you can cut to fit. And have upholstery shop sew your top there. If you interested we can talk more. Thanks for watching

Hello 👋
I have a 31 ford model A coupe. Is it possible to cut the top off and make a roadster ?
Or is it too much work.
Thank you
Lots of work. Keep the coupe and find a cheap roadster to build next. Thanks for watching the channel.
Hi what type of fabric do you use for the top ? Where do you get it ? Thanks
Harts stay fast canvas
It looks like u tube dropped another message. I will be glad to help you with CAD drawing we would need to ph one to make it happen successfully.
Cool, what’s is the easiest software to use for the Langmuir cnc. Is there a free version ? Thanks

The first project that I would have you do is those brackets for the top. A really simple project. Useful and skill building.
Hi are you selling these as a kit I have a stock style windshield with three inch chop 32 ford.thanks

It's called Delrin plastic not Derwin. Derwin is your neighbor ha ha.
Thanks for watching and clearing that up
