That's another thing. People need put those death traps away. Just like people still using barb wire. When they can use non barbed wire. Barbed wire shouldn't of been illegall to use in the US period. It's another death trap.
How did the moose get Inside a chain link fenced back yard??? Carless home owner leaves gates open?? That calf sure-n-hell did not jump the fence! Maybe bill the home owner for cost of time / meds used to rescue???

You don’t wanna be anywhere near momma moose and baby when she wakes up. Lol. My friends and I were sledding in the mountain and were on the trail headed into the Alpine when one of my buddies came around the corner with a momma and baby standing smack dab in the middle of the trail. Momma stomped his sled and that was the end of his sledding for the day. Lol. She did a good number on it! He’s just lucky she was fixated on his machine and not him!😂 The rest of us were quite far behind him and by the time we got there, we just saw our bewildered buddy standing there with pieces of his machine scattered about (the 2 moose were gone). We thought he had come around the corner too fast and somehow rolled his machine. He had so much adrenaline going through him still he could barely talk! 😂
@@june5095 Lol... I'm sure it does. It was a hilarious sight what we saw though. Picture your biggest, gloatingest buddy standing there with his snowmobile in little pieces and telling you a momma moose did it! We wouldn't have believed him if there weren't moose tracks everywhere. 🤣
These men are awesome to take such good care of these majestic animals. I wish game wardens took care of the white tail deer in the Texas Hill country the way Alaskan's, but they don't. We currently have a doe that has a PVC pipe stuck around her ankle and she is limping so bad and getting worse by the day. My son and his buddy tried to corner her, but she was too fast. No one here wants to help her or my son and his buddy, noone even cares. 😢
💔💔💔! They don't always come to the rescue here, either. I pray that they're able to save the poor helpless deer, before any permrnament damage occurs🛐. Your son and his friend have beautiful hearts - and the actions of well raised kids😉👍❣

A mother moose is a creature I would not want to mess with.
Almost as scary as a mother bear, mother gorilla or mother big cat.
Which is why they shot it with tranquilizers. The professionals don’t want to mess with her either.
