You've done it again, Mr. Lloyd. A most enjoyable shuffle with such variety! The only regret is not being able to sample each and every one of these marvelous and unexceptional machines. Thank you, sir. That lovely Fiat Croma is my star of the show. Out of all the Type 4 cars I would be hard pressed to turn down a Croma, which was technically the last 'large' Fiat saloon made to date. And, might I say, a lovely shot of the Marea going by as you swung the camera around to view the Croma!
Back in the early 80s a friend's brother with an "executive" job had a Renault 25 with all the kit! It was, to a teenage me, a very impressive car!
Sir, the R25 was an impressive car back in the day. They have almost entirely disappeared now.
@15:00 Robin Reliant, sir? Jasper Carrot would be proud 😉
An epic collection, sir. Must have been exhausting. Thank you.
I have had Slightly Shambolic Shuffles more intense than this one, but it did still take some effort. Thank you again for watching, sir!
Joseph, many thanks for all your footage of this festival. I almost bought a ticket this time, maybe next year.
My pleasure, sir! We made it round in the end, didn't we?
“French tat” is a hallmark of Petrolblog. It’s one of Gavin’s stickers.
I think that he has kindly been watching my videos.
Once again, another excellent 9 parter Sir🫡. No point in declaring the winner as you couldn't talk about it.. I think we all need to sit down with a glass of sherry and decide out next classic car move.. Thank you for a great Fotu review for the ones who couldn't make it there 👍
Sir, indeed we are unable to discuss the winner on this channel. Mr Coleman and I are looking forward to some Pale Cream Sherry on the next Livestream. We eventually made it to the end!
A real feast of nostalgia Sir.
Citroën went their own way with the Citroën GSA.
The little Daf 45 was very unapologetically small and cute designed for ease of use and maintenance.
The CL version of the VW Polo Classic was a lesson in poverty spec while managing not to be great value for money.
The facelifted 2000 Nissan Primera with the leather interior really resembles the luxurious Nissan QX Maxima.
Unbelievable, a Fiat Croma and a Fiat Argenta.
Vel Satis luxury.
Sir, you actually made it! Well done, I am afraid that there is a lot more to come after this as well, so I hope that you are ready for some more Slightly Shambolic Shuffling... The Polo Classics really were not good value for money at all, were they?
Got my cavalier concept in about 22 / 23 minutes thanks for the great comments keep the videos coming thanks for your hard work
Yes, finally made it! I love Cavaliers, and I do remember that special edition from when I was younger. Thank you ever so much indeed for watching and commenting!
@lloydvehicleconsulting my dad had a similar 1.6 L when I was a kid .....this came up on ebay a.month a go ....and it is the closest version I could of found not looking for the same car but couldn't of found a better one for the money
I actually drove a 1992 1.6 L Cavalier at the Great British Car Journey last year, as they have one on the fleet! The Mark IIIs were excellent cars.
@lloydvehicleconsulting yes seen that video ....I will rewatch later ....mine has no abs and no power steering...carb model
It's probably an earlier one than the model I drove.
At last, we get there! haha great work as usual Sir!
Sir, we made it eventually!
Just finished watching all the FOTU videos
Absolutely fantastic set of shuffles
Thank you for sharing Joseph
Looking at those cars makes you realise how dull the modern offerings are
Thank you very much indeed for persevering all the way through, sir! I think people said similar things back in the 1990s, actually...
Thanks for the tour Mr Lloyd. I wish they have old well-preserved cars like these in South Korea and here in Singapore.
Glad you enjoyed the videos from Festival of the Unexceptional, sir!
21:05 Does that mean there is a companion “Danny Boy Volvo” sir? Thank you once again for all the coverage; I know you begin all your Shambolic Shuffle videos with the disclaimer but I actually really like the format. As others have noted it makes those of us who couldn’t attend the event feel like we were there. The Renault R9, R11 and R25 would be the real highlights of the show for me since as you note they are such incredibly rare cars (although the Fiat Croma in this episode is an “honourable mention”). I am so pleased that your life is complete having encountered the Fiat Argenta.
Sir, the Fiat Argenta, the Fiat Croma, the Renault 25 and the Renault 14 were amongst my favourite cars at the show. We did make it round eventually, but it took a while.
11:21 there she is! Cheers man!
Sir, you persevered, and you were rewarded!
@@lloydvehicleconsulting lol. If only everything in life was like that. 😂 😂 🤣
We aim to please, sir!
A brilliant series of shuffles Sir, have really enjoyed this series of Shambolic Shuffles. Did I miss your Car Sir?
No sir, because I was in the other car park! Thank you again for watching.
Ive watched all of your vids , i think , what a delight sir .
Yes, made it round eventually! Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting.
@@lloydvehicleconsulting no problem 👍.
Three more Slightly Shambolic Shuffles have been uploaded since, and I am filming about fifteen more this week (no exaggeration)!
I enjoyed the last two episodes Joseph the Fiat Strada made me smile I remember when they first came out Fiats advert on TV the Strada Handbuilt by Robots and if I may ask why do you refer to Mr Coleman rubbish mechanic thanks for all the hard work you put into these nine videos best regards Andy Allen.
We have a Livestream coming up where Mr Coleman and I will be taking questions on Wednesday 14th August. Mr Coleman is very aptly named, put it that way.... Yes, the Strada, such a rare car these days. I almost got to drive one in 2022.
I had a Cavalier just like that one at the start of the video. That colour, a 1600L, and two door. It’s customary to say what a wonderful car it was, but I’m afraid that’s not the case. It was good to drive but the engine failed in dramatic form (possibly my fault) and I had it replaced with a reconditioned unit. Also I had a cheap respray carried out which wasn’t bad for the money. Sold it then whilst it looked good…should have done that more often. Oh I think I owned it 1979-81.
Oh gosh, I used to have an old Triumph Dolomite of the same era, and it was absolutely awful. Just because a car is nostalgic, it doesn't mean that it is automatically brilliant, does it? Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting!
2:05 that Elite saloon is beautiful. 3.2 V6, lush and super rare now. The person who put the vxr badge on the estate next to it needs their head examined though.
Yes, very strange seeing that incorrect VXR badge on the Omega Estate. I drove a manual 1999 Omega 2.5 CDX in 2020, and it was absolutely fantastic. As you say, V6 Omegas are quite rare now.
I wish I can afford to fly over to the UK from my home in Singapore to attend this event. Hopefully in the future I will.
Those flights between Singapore and London are expensive, aren't they?
@@lloydvehicleconsulting Yeah. Kind of.
Seeing 2 fiat tempra's reminds me of the days of me reading auto express telling lies about my age so i could send of for csr brochures , and the car posters you could get in car mags , i had the full late 1980s early 90s perhaps fiat range on my bedroom wall at one point .
(Just me typing my own thoughts)
It's a shame we didn't see more base spec astra mk2s there .
I couldn't get my car there this year as it has a "fuel" shall we say , pump leak so it's amazing to see your footage sir.
Ah i see jenny , smashing pistons was there 😀.
Sir can I ask did you see a certain 305 Peugeot estate there , very rusty in a light blue , ref Al 6d unmentionables 😂.
Boy he put some work in to get that car there .
Sir, said Peugeot 305 from the Unmentionable Channel was absolutely there and is in one of the parts somewhere. We do enjoy Fiat Tempras, having driven one in 2022. Thank you for your self-censorship!
@lloydvehicleconsulting ha ha no problem .
Hello Sir , The blue Swift SF series 3 door 2002 , I'm not sure if you have ever driven one but they are a lot of fun to drive , they are only a 1.0 L at this time in the 3 door but go like a go-cart .and very good on fuel too !
Yes, you could get a 1.0 or a 1.3. I have been trying to get hold of one for No Budget Reviews for some time. It's about as typical of that series as it is possible to get...
@@lloydvehicleconsulting Hello furiousdriving has just beaten you too it and test drove a Swift Sir !
@@user-cu6eq9rh4l, you didn't need to tell me, sir.
