So unlike Cocytus, who can’t wear made armor due to having his own exoskeleton acting as his natural armor, Touch Me is an armor-less insectoid that was given the Champion armor. This is based off what I know, so I could be slightly off but mainly on point.
Given what we know of Touch-Me’s background I think he would try very hard to resist the natural urges of being an insect. They would actually be a great source of conflict for him. Also he would be highly motivated to get back to the real world because he actually had a life with a wife and child whereas Momonga really didn’t have anything in the real world.
i think Touch me would make 1 big mistake ..he would be to "center stage" basicly he wouldnt Disguse himself or "limit" himself As such he'd be Targeted for Downfall of Castle and country because of how much he "shows himself" he'd be easy prey for World items unlike Ainz who is cautious and that Caution paid off before Shalltear for Hit with DoCC

Touch Me likely wouldn't have Ainz's ability to create permanent summons. No matter how strong Touch Me is, he can't be everywhere all at once. However, Ainz's summons may be weak but they're strong enough to protect against practically everything in the New World, and with time, he could have tens of thousands of them. There is a definite limit to how much area a single person can control, no matter how powerful. Of course, Touch Me would have the floor guardians, but they might not act as he wishes, much like as they do in the original anime, so it isn't like having summons who will do everything that you ask them too. Touch Me did save a heteromorph (Ainz) in the original game, so he might not actually line up with Ramedios or the Slane Theocracy or any human supremacist nation. He could very well carry on a path that would wipe out a good chunk of humanity.

There'd probably be less genocide overall, though Touch can be surprisingly ruthless when he thinks he's dishing out justice, but he probably won't have the same emotion suppression Momonga does, and as a human being before the game became reality, Touch also seemed like a more empathetic, to an extent, person than Momonga who even as a human could be seriously cold and uncaring toward anyone who wasn't considered a friend, a trait being undead has amplified.
I feel as though karne would have never have prospered as much as it did if Touch Me had saved Enri's parents. She never would have been given a chance to grow into a leader if her parents had survived. Not only that, but it's very unlikely Ainz and Touch Me would both think to gift Enri with a goblin horn item. That's just what I think anyway.
Eh I think he not only would have given her the goblin horn but more after all to them the items are trash. Maybe an armor or maybe a weapon since he's all about justice and all

I think as soon as he sees the village under attack, he and Sebas would immediately teleport there. Touch Me would've gotten there before Enri & sister left the village, so there'd be no need to give her the horns. Even if their parents were still killed, I don't think he would think twice about using high-end Resurrection items to bring them back to life. Enri wouldn't gain her levels in commander classes, at least not any time soon, but she'd have her parents alive. I think she'd be okay with that trade.
It could be that his emotions would change, if his abilities affect his mind, but this isn't something that just happens. So therefore he might be the same guy, just OP
Even as a human, Momonga had some pretty noticeable personality flaws that are hinted at, particularly in the side story. His journey with Keno/Evileye showed they both had the same emotional suppression, but she was capable of compassion toward those they had nothing to gain from, whereas Momonga would use and discard others as needed, or outright kill anyone who was even a slight nuisance, well he would've but Keno usually talked him out of stuff like that. That being said, becoming undead probably worsened his less than good qualities and beliefs from when he was a human since his more cowardly human self probably wouldn't have done a lot of that stuff he does as an undead.
@@Carakav If I remember right, even the author said something along the lines of "Sometimes he isn't a very nice person." The interesting part is that if he's surrounded by good people, he will also be good to others. I don't know, its like the guy is an empty shell, probably has been since his mother died and left him alone in that shitty world, so he just lives by the expectations of those closest to him, which he is doing with his own servants, being the Overlord they expect him to be, but inside, he's lost and clinging to his memories which are as hollow as he himself since his "Online friends" weren't truly friends, after all, they never reached out to him in reality. 2100s Earth sounds miserable.
I think the main issue with Touch Me ruling Nazarick is how his subordinates (besides Sebas) wouldn't share his views on helping humans and other lesser beings simply because it's the right thing to do. Unless they show complete loyalty and simply bend to his will without question as npc's would, there could possibly be a mutiny.
Cochytus is neutral so he would be fine as well, yuri alpha also has a good alignment, Delta is neutal good so they would be fine, entoma is neutal evil so probably fine
I think the humans would be less scared of 'Touch Me' due to him looking like a white holy knight and his belief of saving everyone in need. Demiurge would not do as much as rebel (due to Touch Me also being a supreame being) but I don't think he would be as happy as he is with Momonga(Ainz)
Momonga was in charge of the guild for a reason. I think touch me would go the way of the 6 gods and 8 greedy kings. Show up and be powerful, looked up to but most of all be idealistic. He would lack the caution, the understanding of the floor guardians and their creators intent and the administrative/attention to keep the guild running smoothly like Ainz. He is powerful enough to fend off the dragon lords but not diplomatic enough to avoid bloodshed once the emperor knows of his existence and build a coalition against Nazarick. The results would be bloodshed that sullies his name, deterioration of the guild due to lack of oversight and depletion of resources and disgruntled Nazarick denizens with negative karma who aren’t motivated by good deeds.
Personally I think if touchMe was the MC than the guild would crumble as well as demiurge maybe going rogue along with shalltear and albedo, than overlord would have been more of a redemption story as he would have tried to get to understand them because he would probably see the other members in them

Demiurge isn't an idiot, going against the most powerful being in guild is stupid. Besides, they worship their creator's like Gods, Touch Me is Capital G God the creator.
The story's definitely gonna change a lot considering how Ainz views the NPC's as the children of his former guildmates and how much actual love and care he has for each one of them. While Touch Me may have the higher moral ground in terms of general reasoning, he probably wouldn't value the NPC's as highly as Ainz does.
When you mention that the Swords of Darkness would have been revived..... It's only possible to revive Ninya because when you kill a Zombie and revive it then it would come back as a zombie . Only with a wolrd class item would be possible to change the " Race " from the creature ... Also Ninya was a very low level so she might turn into dust .. I would love to see her revived and with her sister but....
Plus, Ainz was considering resurrecting the people killed during the Carne attack,like Enri's parents, with a resurrection item. But decided against it, because it would caused trouble.
9:01 The opposite might happen when it comes to the Dragon Lords actually. Reminder, Wild Magic requires the sacrifice of souls to use. Most of the time living souls. Which means that anyone who cares about innocent lives like Touch Me will more then likely be very cautious of anyone who can use Wild Magic once he learns about said magic. I highly doubt it’d matter if they had high positive Karma or not. More because of how Karma apparently worked in Yggdrasil.

They can still resort to using souls if they are truly desperate. And that is what any smart and morally good Yggdrasil player would rightly be worried about.

Hell Touch me hypothetically could've developed into a Magic Knight/Swordsman like Bellriver overlordmaruyama.fandom.com/wiki/Bellriver?file=Bellriver.png which is technically what is happening with Ainz and that's advantageous in the event somehow his Magic is disabled.

Plus its possible that Warriors in yggdrasil are restricted from us Using Caster weapons just like Ainz couldn't use a sword. If touch me instead had an item that could help change his class becoming a lvl 100 caster that could use Magic innately that would improve him just like how Ainz did.
unlikely. Overlord is heavely inspired from dnd. And in dnd perfect warrior is something like Tenser's transformation. But there is no occasion of warrior converting to mage
The only issue I see (and I could be wrong) is that Touch Me wouldn't be able to use Gargantua. I believe it was stated that Gargantua could only do things when ordered by Momonga. So he'd essentially just be a pretty statue on the 4th floor.
The most interesting part would be how TouchMe would handle the Dragon Lords. (but sadly you didn't go into much detail on this. :( ) This really all depends on how they end up meeting for the first time. Perhaps they do surprise attack like you said, but if TouchMe keeps a tight lid on a lot of the big negative karma NPCs like Shaltear (aka never lets them leave the tomb) I don't see the Dragon lords raising much issue with that especially if they never find out she even exists. Not to mention if he makes it known to them of his intention of returning to Earth, there is a possibility of an alliance to come to that goal because they would love nothing more for the corruption of the Yggdrasil to go away so they might jump at the chance to see a peaceful resolution to that. He might not be above handing over the world to them once he does depart which would definitely be a favorable outcome for them and since most of the dragon lords have positive karma he might not be against it as long as they promise not to treat the human natives harshly...which I don't see much evidence. It was mostly Yggdrasil humans they would have hated anyways. They were largely indifferent to the native human population I think. It all depends though on how the dragon lords end up coming into contact with him and I can see them coming to certain arrangements when he departs and the main conflict would be rather or not the dragon lords allow him to take all the world items with him. It's possible he'll come to a compromise and still leave some behind so the Dragon Lords have some tools to help keep any trouble makers at bay once he leaves. This would certainly make for an interesting story and while he wraps up world peace relatively quickly, it will be the dragon lord stuff that would have taken up most of the story given TouchMe's likely end goal of returning to Earth.
It would be interesting. The downsie is that if any of the old guild members are there, and are found by Albedo's death squad, they'll be killed in secret and Ainz will never know. Still, if Touch himself found Nazarick first, Ainz would be very happy to have his friend back, then be quite puzzled when said friend slaps him upside the skull for all the horrible shit he's done to the people of this world.
Nothing so far is known about Rubedo apart from her being strong enough to 1 V 1 Touch and win most of the time. To your main point, I'd agree if Touch still had his gear, but he turned in his gear to Momonga, so he'd be fighting with no items, or whatever trash he could scrape together in New World, which puts him at a huge disadvantage, world champ or not.
World Champion is a special job class that had the feature to be slightly stronger when one is situated in the world they represent respectively. It is the kind of class that also possesses an extremely high fighting ability. They could defend themselves absolutely with Dimensional Gap while dealing massive damage with Dimensional Slash. The author Maruyama noted a World Champion also have the ability to fight at least 6 guild members of Ainz Ooal Gown alone

Is he the only one who can bring civilization to the NW? Screw all that and find a way to go home? Idklol

Given how conflicted Touch Me was over his job and his strong sense of justice, I have a feeling he's gonna be the type to wage crusade after crusade after crusade in the name of creating a "just" world. Sounds good. Except the fact that we have no idea how his insectoid/non-human species will affect his values or his feelings towards humanity in general. What if he structures his empire like an ant colony? But with an emperor instead of a queen at the helm? Speaking of queens, given how much he loves his real world wife, would he be motivated to try and return to her and the crapsack world in a way Momonga doesn't?

If touch me was the only one to be transported into the new world it would be pretty likely for him to destroy nazarick once he learns of the Npc's true nature's. His sense of justice would undeniably clash with the nature of Nazarick as a whole and would either end with a the entire tomb and it's residence being killed. If he were to be transported with Momonga, I can see him becoming oblivious to the horrific deeds of the residence (With Momonga attempting to hide such details) but will lead to the same results of Nazarick's destruction. Touchme's end goal after being transported (In either scenario) would 100% be attempting to return back to his world. He does have a wife and child to return too unlike Momonga
I highly doubt that, if Ainz's eclipse lich body has an effect on mind, then so does Touch me with his body, Touch me is this high good karma level insectoid he definitely would remain as a hero until he dies.

I think his endeavor would not be as smoothly. for his good nature, it would be very easily exploited. and since he dont allowed Demi to bring fear to the land, many will think they can take advantaged of him.
I wonder if this would be the one timeline were demiurge would betray a supreme being. While he is very loyal touch me is the polar opposite of what demiurge's creator idolized. This would likely start a civil war within nazarick since touch me would desecrate for what half of Ainz Oolw Gown stood for. And since demiurge is smart the first person he would try to win for his cause would be rubedo the one person that touch me could never defeat. Thou I have no clue how far he would end up getting since most other NPC would probably stay loyal even against their will and demiurge would be the special case.
It would be hard on the floor guardians who were evil to suppress their urges. So I'm sure there would be conflict there. And as a bug there would be drastic changes from that alone. But having Albedo as the head of the club would be problematic for a future good guy Overlord. And let's not talk about the happy farm. That would be a no no. Demurge would be very depressed about not being able to enjoy his toys. I mean they made the underground tomb basically a super villain hideout. So there is a lot of evil going on in there. So I'm sure there is comedy gold in him running around stopping the guardians from bending the rules a bit, because he didnt explicitly state they couldn't kill and eat dwarves, he only told them not to eat humans. And you never said we couldn't enslave people, just not to torture them. What about waterboarding that's a grey area right? Yea, the evil guardians would pose a problem for any good ruler. Even in the current story he tries to curb the plain over the top stuff from the more sadistic guardians. So add a goody goody to the main character and things would get interesting to say the least. And there might be some traitors because of that. Or some psychotic NPC characters who need release, kinda like Albeto does when she gets worked up trying to get into the pants of the MC. Obviously she would be trying to get into everybody's pants with her original character backstory. But that's another quirk that would make a good guy MC have problems.
I would totally watch a version of Overlord like this. It would be cool to see what would happen if the protagonist wasn’t just so willing to go along with whatever his clearly evil NPCs wanted to do, and actually cared about being a good guy. I have no problem with the original story, and I think Ainz is a great villain. I just think it would be interesting to see what would happen in the new world if the protagonist actually acknowledged the fact that the majority of the NPCs in Nazarick are evil pieces of shit.

I do not think Touch me is by default stronger then Momonga. I mean, he is strong, but he is a melee fighter. He is one of the strongest melee fighters. The thing is, Melee fighters vs Casters is not something that automatically airs on the side of the melee fighter. If you've played any games, you will know that strongest X does not automatically mean strongest of all. You can be the strongest Melee fighter and consistently lose against range, so he may lose to Peroronchino for example.
if TouchMe is a dagonite , while the scripture was send to prevent an invasion by a dragon ... it could be ended up not shalltear beeing mindcontrolled but TouchMe ( while i still consider touchme to win against the scripture while coountering the world item with his worlditem rank amor ) Meanwhile platinum dragon would probably be much nicer to TouchMe since he would send Demigure to do politics xD i wonder Aura might have over 100 magical beasts but its not stated that ainz couldnt summon the mounts of his friends which are probably some exotic creatures too^^ We know (from the episode with albedos mount / were ainz rode to the dwarfen city / ainz experiments on undead ) the problematic in the new world that you have different kinds of summonings . But since mounts are kinda paid allready and have no time limiter , they would only need to gain the power to fight or cast spells propperly. i think it would be also cool if we could read more about the 2 unique dragons aura and mare has , i hope they are fairydragons or have at least some rare magical abilities. buut im sure im wrong , like i allways imagined Victum to be a kind of drakonite angelic fae creature and been proven wrong xD
If I remember correctly, he picked insectoid as his race because he was obsessed with a superhero show about a man who can transform into a bug themed superhero. It’s pretty obvious what that show was.
I know this video is old but I want to say I disagree with most of what is said. Firstly, because the personalities are so incredibly different from what we know, their goals and reasoning and methodology would be so far apart that 99% of the show would be different. He would save the village, probably wouldn't hide his identity to the villagers. He would probably become friends with Gazef and would help him wipe out the angels but instead of wiping out the scripture would probably just stop them. Considering he is a world class PvPer, the lack of anybody that could contest him would probably make the game really unfun. Considering that the mind effects on Ainz exist, he doesn't care about human life at all and can't have strong emotion without it being dampened, there are some serious questions that could be asked about his mental state. Would he go around killing everything he came across or actually retain his goodness and work through it. I think he would have learned about platinum dragon lord and the slaine theocracy within the first book and start trying to do what ainz still hasn't done and that is try and find answers. That said, I think he wouldn't be afraid to be known and would consider it better if more people knew who he was to attract attention and be constantly on the move. I think before the end of season 1 he would have made an alliance with all the human states nearby and already learned vast amounts of the history of the world, this wouldn't be so much an adventure to conquer the world but discover its mysteries. As such I think he would be far better at discovering things and making friends. Talking about things like would he still have made the hamster his pet? No, he never would have gone to the woods in the first place. He may have even turned against nazerick himself. Releasing so much death and destruction and evil on the 'real' world would be completely against his heroic saving people nature he has been depicted as. So, as I said, I disagree with most of what is said because the show would be so incredibly different.
If Touch Me ruled Nazarick, the series wouldn't be half as awesome. I like Touch Me, but he is too much of a straight arrow to be the ruler of the great underground tomb of Nazarick. Touch Me is a stronger, nicer and smarter version of Remedios. But with the same flaws that he wouldn't be able to compromise, adapt, dirty his own hands or see the bigger picture.

Even as a human, Momonga had some pretty noticeable personality flaws that are hinted at, particularly in the side story. His journey with Keno/Evileye showed they both had the same emotional suppression, but she was capable of compassion toward those they had nothing to gain from, whereas Momonga would use and discard others as needed, or outright kill anyone who was even a slight nuisance, well he would've but Keno usually talked him out of stuff like that. That being said, becoming undead probably worsened his less than good qualities and beliefs from when he was a human since his more cowardly human self probably wouldn't have done a lot of that stuff he does as an undead.

The interesting part is that if he's surrounded by good people, he will also be good to others. I don't know, its like the guy is an empty shell, probably has been since his mother died and left him alone in that shitty world, so he just lives by the expectations of those closest to him, which he is doing with his own servants, being the Overlord they expect him to be, but inside, he's lost and clinging to his memories which are as hollow as he himself since his "Online friends" weren't truly friends, after all, they never reached out to him in reality. 2100s Earth sounds miserable.

I think the main issue with Touch Me ruling Nazarick is how his subordinates (besides Sebas) wouldn't share his views on helping humans and other lesser beings simply because it's the right thing to do. Unless they show complete loyalty and simply bend to his will without question as npc's would, there could possibly be a mutiny.
As the saying goes, Strenght is Justice, as long as he is the strongest others will probably follow him, willing or not
Cochytus is neutral so he would be fine as well, yuri alpha also has a good alignment, Delta is neutal good so they would be fine, entoma is neutal evil so probably fine
I think the humans would be less scared of 'Touch Me' due to him looking like a white holy knight and his belief of saving everyone in need.
Demiurge would not do as much as rebel (due to Touch Me also being a supreame being) but I don't think he would be as happy as he is with Momonga(Ainz)
Momonga was in charge of the guild for a reason. I think touch me would go the way of the 6 gods and 8 greedy kings. Show up and be powerful, looked up to but most of all be idealistic. He would lack the caution, the understanding of the floor guardians and their creators intent and the administrative/attention to keep the guild running smoothly like Ainz. He is powerful enough to fend off the dragon lords but not diplomatic enough to avoid bloodshed once the emperor knows of his existence and build a coalition against Nazarick. The results would be bloodshed that sullies his name, deterioration of the guild due to lack of oversight and depletion of resources and disgruntled Nazarick denizens with negative karma who aren’t motivated by good deeds.
You should do What if all of Aniz Ooal Gown was summoned to the New World, after your done with each one of the members you were going to do.
We don't even info on all the members. Only 10 or 11 character sheets with some lore are shown to us in the LN.

Personally I think if touchMe was the MC than the guild would crumble as well as demiurge maybe going rogue along with shalltear and albedo, than overlord would have been more of a redemption story as he would have tried to get to understand them because he would probably see the other members in them

The story's definitely gonna change a lot considering how Ainz views the NPC's as the children of his former guildmates and how much actual love and care he has for each one of them. While Touch Me may have the higher moral ground in terms of general reasoning, he probably wouldn't value the NPC's as highly as Ainz does.
When you mention that the Swords of Darkness would have been revived..... It's only possible to revive Ninya because when you kill a Zombie and revive it then it would come back as a zombie . Only with a wolrd class item would be possible to change the " Race " from the creature ...
Also Ninya was a very low level so she might turn into dust ..

The opposite might happen when it comes to the Dragon Lords actually. Reminder, Wild Magic requires the sacrifice of souls to use. Most of the time living souls.
Which means that anyone who cares about innocent lives like Touch Me will more then likely be very cautious of anyone who can use Wild Magic once he learns about said magic. I highly doubt it’d matter if they had high positive Karma or not. More because of how Karma apparently worked in Yggdrasil.

It’s true that true dragon, especially PDL, can use less and less souls in favor of hp. But even then they still have to worry about the limitations of said hp. They can still resort to using souls if they are truly desperate. And that is what any smart and morally good Yggdrasil player would rightly be worried about.

Plus its possible that Warriors in yggdrasil are restricted from us Using Caster weapons just like Ainz couldn't use a sword. If touch me instead had an item that could help change his class becoming a lvl 100 caster that could use Magic innately that would improve him just like how Ainz did.

The only issue I see (and I could be wrong) is that Touch Me wouldn't be able to use Gargantua. I believe it was stated that Gargantua could only do things when ordered by Momonga. So he'd essentially just be a pretty statue on the 4th floor.

This really all depends on how they end up meeting for the first time. Perhaps they do surprise attack like you said, but if TouchMe keeps a tight lid on a lot of the big negative karma NPCs like Shaltear (aka never lets them leave the tomb) I don't see the Dragon lords raising much issue with that especially if they never find out she even exists. Not to mention if he makes it known to them of his intention of returning to Earth, there is a possibility of an alliance to come to that goal because they would love nothing more for the corruption of the Yggdrasil to go away so they might jump at the chance to see a peaceful resolution to that.
He might not be above handing over the world to them once he does depart which would definitely be a favorable outcome for them and since most of the dragon lords have positive karma he might not be against it as long as they promise not to treat the human natives harshly...which I don't see much evidence. It was mostly Yggdrasil humans they would have hated anyways. They were largely indifferent to the native human population I think.
It all depends though on how the dragon lords end up coming into contact with him and I can see them coming to certain arrangements when he departs and the main conflict would be rather or not the dragon lords allow him to take all the world items with him. It's possible he'll come to a compromise and still leave some behind so the Dragon Lords have some tools to help keep any trouble makers at bay once he leaves. This would certainly make for an interesting story and while he wraps up world peace relatively quickly, it will be the dragon lord stuff that would have taken up most of the story given TouchMe's likely end goal of returning to Earth.
So, here's a what-if for you: What if you got both Touch-Me and Momonga around on the last day? e.g. we get both of them around to handle things.

It would be interesting. The downsie is that if any of the old guild members are there, and are found by Albedo's death squad, they'll be killed in secret and Ainz will never know. Still, if Touch himself found Nazarick first, Ainz would be very happy to have his friend back, then be quite puzzled when said friend slaps him upside the skull for all the horrible shit he's done to the people of this world.

Nothing so far is known about Rubedo apart from her being strong enough to 1 V 1 Touch and win most of the time. To your main point, I'd agree if Touch still had his gear, but he turned in his gear to Momonga, so he'd be fighting with no items, or whatever trash he could scrape together in New World, which puts him at a huge disadvantage, world champ or not.
World Champion is a special job class that had the feature to be slightly stronger when one is situated in the world they represent respectively. It is the kind of class that also possesses an extremely high fighting ability. They could defend themselves absolutely with Dimensional Gap while dealing massive damage with Dimensional Slash. The author Maruyama noted a World Champion also have the ability to fight at least 6 guild members of Ainz Ooal Gown alone

I don't think Demiurge wouldn't be confined to nazarick, given that touch me was a policeman in his old world he probably has a certain understanding how the world works and what needs to be done. What's interesting to me is how is he going to react to his dissonance about his in game character and his own personality. Would he see himself as an invader? Is he the only one who can bring civilization to the NW? Screw all that and find a way to go home? Idklol

If touch me was the only one to be transported into the new world it would be pretty likely for him to destroy nazarick once he learns of the Npc's true nature's. His sense of justice would undeniably clash with the nature of Nazarick as a whole and would either end with a the entire tomb and it's residence being killed.
If he were to be transported with Momonga, I can see him becoming oblivious to the horrific deeds of the residence (With Momonga attempting to hide such details) but will lead to the same results of Nazarick's destruction.
Touchme's end goal after being transported (In either scenario) would 100% be attempting to return back to his world. He does have a wife and child to return too unlike Momonga

I think his endeavor would not be as smoothly. for his good nature, it would be very easily exploited. and since he dont allowed Demi to bring fear to the land, many will think they can take advantaged of him.
I wonder if this would be the one timeline were demiurge would betray a supreme being. While he is very loyal touch me is the polar opposite of what demiurge's creator idolized. This would likely start a civil war within nazarick since touch me would desecrate for what half of Ainz Oolw Gown stood for. And since demiurge is smart the first person he would try to win for his cause would be rubedo the one person that touch me could never defeat. Thou I have no clue how far he would end up getting since most other NPC would probably stay loyal even against their will and demiurge would be the special case.

It would be hard on the floor guardians who were evil to suppress their urges. So I'm sure there would be conflict there. And as a bug there would be drastic changes from that alone. But having Albedo as the head of the club would be problematic for a future good guy Overlord. And let's not talk about the happy farm. That would be a no no. Demurge would be very depressed about not being able to enjoy his toys. I mean they made the underground tomb basically a super villain hideout. So there is a lot of evil going on in there.
So I'm sure there is comedy gold in him running around stopping the guardians from bending the rules a bit, because he didnt explicitly state they couldn't kill and eat dwarves, he only told them not to eat humans. And you never said we couldn't enslave people, just not to torture them. What about waterboarding that's a grey area right? Yea, the evil guardians would pose a problem for any good ruler. Even in the current story he tries to curb the plain over the top stuff from the more sadistic guardians. So add a goody goody to the main character and things would get interesting to say the least. And there might be some traitors because of that. Or some psychotic NPC characters who need release, kinda like Albeto does when she gets worked up trying to get into the pants of the MC. Obviously she would be trying to get into everybody's pants with her original character backstory. But that's another quirk that would make a good guy MC have problems.

I would totally watch a version of Overlord like this. It would be cool to see what would happen if the protagonist wasn’t just so willing to go along with whatever his clearly evil NPCs wanted to do, and actually cared about being a good guy. I have no problem with the original story, and I think Ainz is a great villain. I just think it would be interesting to see what would happen in the new world if the protagonist actually acknowledged the fact that the majority of the NPCs in Nazarick are evil pieces of shit.

I do not think Touch me is by default stronger then Momonga. I mean, he is strong, but he is a melee fighter. He is one of the strongest melee fighters. The thing is, Melee fighters vs Casters is not something that automatically airs on the side of the melee fighter. If you've played any games, you will know that strongest X does not automatically mean strongest of all. You can be the strongest Melee fighter and consistently lose against range, so he may lose to Peroronchino for example.

We know (from the episode with albedos mount / were ainz rode to the dwarfen city / ainz experiments on undead ) the problematic in the new world that you have different kinds of summonings . But since mounts are kinda paid allready and have no time limiter , they would only need to gain the power to fight or cast spells propperly.
i think it would be also cool if we could read more about the 2 unique dragons aura and mare has , i hope they are fairydragons or have at least some rare magical abilities.

I know this video is old but I want to say I disagree with most of what is said. Firstly, because the personalities are so incredibly different from what we know, their goals and reasoning and methodology would be so far apart that 99% of the show would be different. He would save the village, probably wouldn't hide his identity to the villagers. He would probably become friends with Gazef and would help him wipe out the angels but instead of wiping out the scripture would probably just stop them. Considering he is a world class PvPer, the lack of anybody that could contest him would probably make the game really unfun. Considering that the mind effects on Ainz exist, he doesn't care about human life at all and can't have strong emotion without it being dampened, there are some serious questions that could be asked about his mental state. Would he go around killing everything he came across or actually retain his goodness and work through it. I think he would have learned about platinum dragon lord and the slaine theocracy within the first book and start trying to do what ainz still hasn't done and that is try and find answers. That said, I think he wouldn't be afraid to be known and would consider it better if more people knew who he was to attract attention and be constantly on the move. I think before the end of season 1 he would have made an alliance with all the human states nearby and already learned vast amounts of the history of the world, this wouldn't be so much an adventure to conquer the world but discover its mysteries. As such I think he would be far better at discovering things and making friends. Talking about things like would he still have made the hamster his pet? No, he never would have gone to the woods in the first place. He may have even turned against nazerick himself. Releasing so much death and destruction and evil on the 'real' world would be completely against his heroic saving people nature he has been depicted as. So, as I said, I disagree with most of what is said because the show would be so incredibly different.

If Touch Me ruled Nazarick, the series wouldn't be half as awesome. I like Touch Me, but he is too much of a straight arrow to be the ruler of the great underground tomb of Nazarick. Touch Me is a stronger, nicer and smarter version of Remedios. But with the same flaws that he wouldn't be able to compromise, adapt, dirty his own hands or see the bigger picture.
Touch me is like the character who would be extremely boring if he was the MC but extremely interesting if his a side character with a legacy.
