It was the first thing I noticed before I got bombarded with dragon roost island, it gave me goosebumps, I love this boss fight
I was so excited by the molgera reference that I actually almost missed the dragon roost bit when I heard this the first time.
I was all like: WAIT THAT'S MOLGERA AND THIS IS COLGERA THIS IS SUCH A CALL BACK OMG I LOVED THAT BOSS FIGHT -- and then Dragon Roost happened and I was like: this is so bombastic and hey wait isn't that Dragon roost? xD

This whole sequence is a Wind Waker reference. The “Wind Temple” is a literal boat, “Colgera” sounds a lot like “Molgera”, and there are a bunch of nods toward Molgera’s theme & WW music in addition to the Dragon Roost Island theme
Not to mention in the depths in that region you can find the wind waker boomerang
Dude as a massive childhood fan of Wind Waker I almost teared up when the Molgera theme kicked in. That’s when it all clicked and all the connections formed.
Probably one of the coolest boss fights I’ve done in a good while. Super elegant with the full wing suit.
Also Molgera was my number 1 favorite Wind Waker boss too, so I’m a bit biased. Sand worms are just too awesome

Anyone else think Colgera was so reminiscent of Wind Waker because of the Rito village theme and remember how the islands of the Great Sea became islands?
Was just resigning colgera and realized the theme sounded REALLY familiar. molgera theme is my all time favorite theme
