Stephen A doesn’t know anything about the thunder. 2011/12- we make the finals as the youngest team lose to LeBron and the Miami big 3. Yes we traded Harden after which we probably shouldn’t have in hindsight but okay. 2012/13 -Westbrook gets injured by pat Beverly in the first round and we manage to survive and make it to second round 2013/14 - Westbrook plays only 46 games and we lost to eventual champions that beat the Miami big 3 2014/15- Westbrook only played 67 games, and Kevin Durant played 27 games that’s when he had the Jones fracture in his foot. Finished 9th and missed the playoffs to the pelicans due to a tie breaker. 2015/16- took the 73 win GSW to 7 games, lost due to game 6 Klay and Westbrook and KD low key shitting the bed in the WCF 2016/17 - KD left as a free agent and made no indications of leaving prior so we couldn’t trade him, no sign and trade either not his fault that the league had a huge jump in salary never before seen that GSW were able to pick him up 2016/17 - he added pieces like Oladipo, Sabonis who ended up getting us more pieces later on, Westbrook got MVP and did it alone still took them to the playoffs 2017/18 - Traded for Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, (okc obviously not a free agent destination so what else could he do) they made the playoffs yet again and choked due to his big 3 shitting the bed in playoffs 2018/19: PG finishes 3rd in MVP voting, and 2nd in DPOY. Lose to Trailblazers on a buzzer beater which is the biggest blessing in okc history 2019/20: Trades PG for 5 first round picks and SGA and Golonari (one pick turned into Jalen Williams) also trades Westbrook to Houston for CP3 and 2 first round picks and 2 pick swaps which are yet to all be concluded. And signed Lu Dort to a two way contract which quickly changed. Result? Still make the first round and lose in game 7 by a single possession 2020/21: thunder trade Chris Paul for 4 players and a pick to suns which they ended up using as pieces to rebuild and traded that 13th pick to Denver and will get their first round in 2027, first year of the proper rebuild of course they tanked but we saw what Shai was capable of 2021/22 - drafted Giddey, Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins (Giddey was a solid piece but couldn’t shoot turned him into Alex Caruso), Wiggins a solid piece for OKC even though second round pick and still second year of rebuild 2022/23 - drafted Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams (future DPOY/All star and future all star and all defensive team), and Jaylin Williams who’s a solid bench piece for us. Oh and signed Isiah Joe as a free agent who’s our best shooter. 3rd year of rebuild and made the play in and finished 40-42 losing to Minnesota. All this without Chet playing a single game 2023/24 - Drafts Cason Wallace (key piece and future all defensive player), Chet is back finish as the youngest 1st seed in nba history, youngest team to win a playoff series, lose in 7 due to being out rebounded and technically year 4 of rebuild 2024/25: trades Giddey our defensive liability for Caruso, biggest free agent signing in okc history in ihart, drafts Ajay Mitchell who’s been logging big minutes currently the 1st seed, one game behind best record in nba on pace for a franchise record and one of best nba records in history for wins with 70 or more wins. Tell me at which point did Presti not literally do amazing and honestly preforming magic with what he had. Was it his fault Beverly dove into westbrooks knees, his fault KD had that foot injury, his fault KD left after no indication and the huge CBA jump unexpectedly. His fault Oladipo and Sabonis were inconsistent with OKC. His fault Playoff P became a thing with us but he has always been horrid in the playoffs since his leg injury. Good thing he traded for him though. With that original core we made the playoffs 10/11 seasons. With one of those seasons the KD injury and we missed out by a tie breaker. Then after that we only missed the playoffs for 3 seasons, and the last season of the 3 was a loss in the final play in game… what more can a GM do. He’s made the playoffs so far 11/15 seasons about to be 12/16. There’s a reason why he’s the longest serving GM. The only ones longer in front office are Pat Riley, and Greg popovich. People after him Sam was Bob Myers with GSW from 2012 but only active ones are Masai Ujiri from 2013 with Toronto. Sean Marks with Brooklyn from 2016. Stephen A just talks
Sam the man is always missing a piece case and point the Cavs Dallas last year more good players had been Thur okc to win a title the sheer number of players Thur okc is crazy
Hating on Sam presti for not winning a championship is insane considering team like the kings went 16 seasons with out a playoff appearance and the bulls haven't won a championship since they had a top 2 player of all time alongside a top 30 player of all time thunder in 58 seasons as a team have 33 playoff appearances presti has drafted 3 league mvps and multiple all stars and masterminded the best rebuild in nba history he's done a amazing job.
I can go on about teams that had less success for longer than the thunder teams like the hornets kings and suns have made some of the worst draft picks in recession history the blazers couldn't build a contender the 2nd best player in franchise history to save their lives.
People like Stephen A have probably watched 2 OKC games this season. Anyone who has watched OKC play this season would not even think of saying all that nonsense Stephen A is saying. This goes for most of NBA’s media. Everyone is busy watching Steph and LeBron lose.
I knew the second we lost, we were gonna be written off in the media. 😂 Cavs won the finals that night you would’ve thought with the way they were talking. Ended up losing to the Pacers last night 😅
Thunder is the best team in the NBA right now. And this coming from a Knick fan. Btw, Steven A annoys Knicks fandom to NO end. Some consider him phoney Knick fan. Thunder are actually an easy team to like. Hard to watch them though cause y'all got IHarK because of ridiculously stupid NBA rule that could not allow the HOME team to match an offer from another team?! OMG. This NBA sometimes is such nonsense. One thing that isn't nonsense though is that OKC is kicking ass and taking names. They also seem like really good guys, and they support each other, they aren't arrogant asses, they project a love for basketball. That's pretty cool! I hope they go all the way- except against us!!! lmao
No....Stephen A. Likely wasn't talking about Presti having control over how well the players play. I haven't seen the clip but he was probably referring to things like the trading of Harden to avoid the luxury tax or the problems that didn't get resolved between KD and Russ.
SAS such a clown sometimes smh. He’s acting like the GM is supposed to go out and win the games like it’s 2k. It’s the players and coaching staff’s responsibility to do that. Presti is the GOAT 🐐 🙌🏻
@@imsalty5539 not every move a gm makes is gonna pan out but presti has done a lot of good for the organization. Also he let go of harden because he couldn’t resign harden to the deal he wanted without going over the luxury tax cause they wanted to keep ibaka. He was arguably the top shot blocker in the league at the time and having a good big at that time in the league was essential.
I'm not saying Presti should've been fired. But he screwed up royally by not paying Harden what he deserved. And his acquisition after that were largely just spinning their wheels, without really improving the team much at all.
Ah yes, the youngest GM in the league at the time, and if I’m correct in league history, made a mistake. Not saying he’s perfect, but we make it seem like he was horrible. He was one KD staying in OKC away from winning a championship.
@ThunderDigestYT I'm not acting like anything. Presti is a great GM. But he isn't perfect. And we shouldn't act like he's that, either. Sure, OKC could've won a title if they'd brought KD back, but it's far from guaranteed. Presti made some poor moves that cost them titles the years before KD left. Most players stay professional about the losing part, and fans love to think "next year is the year" after each postseason failure, but players aren't playing for next year. They want to win now and taking unnecessary L's puts a strain on the players, coaches, team chemistry, etc. Putting the team not winning a title all on KD's shoulders for leaving when he carried that squad as the best player for years, glosses over how major mistakes from front offices, in this case it's Presti, can limit and fail a team long before things actually hit their breaking point and completely fall apart.
SAS is a clown, all he does is for entertainment and he should never be taken seriously since all he do is bark. Presti is a great GM and every team wishes they have him as their GM.
Stephen A is just simply an OKC hater, and when his Knicks were embarrassed, that didn't sit well with him. Anyone who just casually follows the NBA knows Sam Presti is the best GM in the NBA. If not for KD, he would already have a championship. But, believe this, it's coming.
Presti needs to go get Zion. He’s got a dozen 1st rounders that will never play at OKC, why not give 3 to New Orleans for a player they don’t want? Best case scenario you get him to OKC and their culture creates the guy that’s looked like the best player in the NBA when healthy and in shape and would go down as the greatest trade in history. Worst case scenario and it’s a bust you’re still one of the best young teams in the NBA, with the best young roster, the best young superstar, the best outlook for the next decade of any organization, and still have more 1st round picks than anyone. What do you have to lose? Swing for the fences
Stephen A is just pissed because of the beating we put on the Knicks.
Stephen A doesn’t know anything about the thunder.

OKC didn’t win multiple championships in their previous runs because of injuries. Not Presti’s fault.

How many HOF Players has Presti Drafted? 3…. Dude is an exceptional GM!
Potentially more

Presti geta fired he'd have another NBA GN job before you got out of the parking lot. He's one the best GMs in the NBA.
I keep telling my cousins watch the freaking games 😂
I knew the second we lost, we were gonna be written off in the media. 😂 Cavs won the finals that night you would’ve thought with the way they were talking. Ended up losing to the Pacers last night 😅
Crazy how the media switches up (as I the media have switched up like crazy all the time)
The Knicks are really missing Hartenstien.

We’re finally back. SAS saying blasphemy like this means we matter again
Nah man.
This is not SAS being honest.
What hes trying to do is get public support to get Presti fired so the Knicks can hire him.
SAS such a clown sometimes smh. He’s acting like the GM is supposed to go out and win the games like it’s 2k. It’s the players and coaching staff’s responsibility to do that. Presti is the GOAT 🐐 🙌🏻
Let Presti lace them up in a one-on-one against Stephen A.
@ Presti is taking those ankles like he takes everyone’s draft picks 🔥
Presti did trade harden and drafted non contributors after drafting Steven Adam's
@@imsalty5539 not every move a gm makes is gonna pan out but presti has done a lot of good for the organization. I mean, how many chips have the knicks got since leon rose took over?? Lol that's their gm right? 🤣🤦♂️🤷♂️⛈️💙💪
The truth hurts any other top GM with this many pick and players going thur ókc would have won a title and been to more than title game
Correction Seattle Supersonic won back to back chamionships in the 70s
They only got one but went to 2
@Blpnokosher they one a western conference title and an NBA title

Hardcore …like 4 flat tires…since 2016…but I do feel Stephen A…but that’s ALL HE GET a pass on talking bout okc..BUT I DO GET IT YALL
What it Sam's fault OKC didn't win? Realy
Guess who just got beaten by the Pistons, STEPHEN A SIMP'S NEW YORK KNICKS
Stephen A is just simply an OKC hater, and when his Knicks were embarrassed, that didn't sit well with him. Anyone who just casually follows the NBA knows Sam Presti is the best GM in the NBA. If not for KD, he would already have a championship. But, believe this, it's coming.

I hate Zion but depending on his contract I see your point
This just doesn’t make sense. Zion would be a god awful fit.
Wizards has never been close to the championship
Steven A Simp should go and switch to politics permanently
He’s just trying to stir the pot so that Sam will get pissed and leave, possibly ending up in New York😂
Knicks fan are happy with Leon Rose. He manifested a miracle in NYC- especially where NYK was in budget and contracts. In Rose we trust!
I like the energy.
He's mad we just sent the Knicks a tailspin
Yes who has had more draft picks more top tier players than Sam the man and not win a nba title The truth hurts okc fans but it is true
Its his job to ragebait plz stop buying into his idiot notions
