As a graphic designer I have no desire to ever use excel, yet I have to in many situations anyways (creating graphs in Illustrator, which are way prettier than Msoft graphs, but the data has to be arranged in a specific way depending on what kind of graph you're making). This saved my life tonight.

The simplest, most elegant way to flip data in a column is: =OFFSET(A$1,COUNTA(A2:A$12),) And if there are no more data on column A, this is the shortest solution: =OFFSET(A$1,COUNTA(A2:A12),)

I have values of about 1200 and not in any specific order and in random. But I need to flip my data.. I want my 1200th value to be 1 and vice versa... Can anyone help me with that ?
I accidentally recorded the time period in the order that is reversed to what i want (January 2022 - January 2021) so I just want to simply flip the order of the whole column. No sorting needed. Apparently a simple flip is harder than I though. ugh
2024 and flipping a column or row of cells is this elaborate in excel... what a load of crap. Thx for your effort, its not your fault excel stinks in so many ways.

Hi great video. However the VBA formula doesn't seem to work. Instead, it changes the contents of the cells to FALSE. Any idea why this is happening?
In the Sort By option, can you please help me so that the rows with a blank value don't appear.
One way I can think of is first use the FILTER function to remove the blank rows using =FILTER(A2:B12,A2:A12<>"")
