Can we do this at anytime of day or only when we want to sleep at night ? 🙂🙏❤️❤️❤️

This has all the components of a regular yoga nidra session (including sankalpas at the beginning and end), therefore you can do this as a spiritual practice during the day or night!

*i wonder if im the only person here who cant feel any of their toes apart from their big toe when doing the full body scan procedure ? i kind of just have to imagine they are there based upon their general positions

I remember going through this phase, as well. Yoga nidra is a process of expanding the awareness to the gross, subtle and causal dimensions of our being. Just as there are obviously aspects of the psyche and mind we are not consciously aware of, there are also muscles and entire body parts (such as toes) we do not have awareness of either.
Gradually we expand our awareness in the practice of yoga nidra. Eventually you will be able to locate and feel all five toes with acute sensitivity. The whole first stage of yoga nidra involves expanding awareness to the gross dimension of your being (the physical body + waking conscious mind).
Over time you expand your awareness into the subtle dimension of the subconscious mind, and eventually to the pure bliss of mental silence beyond the three states of mind entirely.
To help you develop awareness of the toes try visualizing a certain sensation spreading from body part to body part such as heat, pulsating, or heaviness. Instead of just trying to 'feel' each toe, visualize a warm energy or weight spreading from toe to toe.
Of course you can also spend 10 minutes a day massaging your feet and concentrating on each toe individually, closing your eyes and allowing you to see and feel it with the mind's eye.
Even without that kind of effort your awareness will expand and become more acute over time as you continue to practice yoga nidra.
Thank you for listening and for your quesiton!
      Hari Om,
      Devatma

@@TantraForLife this was also a suspicion ive been holding ;) it seems like theres always subtle new things occuring the more i stick with doing this on a daily basis, i rarely fall asleep during yoga nidra anymore and have no problem completing the longer session and actually look forward to them. i still have ocasional issues trying to visualise certain things but then have other wildly vivid images of surreal, other worldy landscapes and architectural constructs. i just wish i could draw some of the stuff that comes up during the practice ;)

@@monogramadikt5971 yes, that’s right, yoga nidra becomes more subtle as you continue. Gradually you purify the psyche with the neutral light of awareness, allowing you to to experience greater stillness and silence.

@@TantraForLife should i expect to experience times when i seem to have hit a wall with the practice of yoga nidra, as in find it difficult to keep the mind on the practice rather then the onslaught of other thoughts not related to act of yoga nidra ? i hope that makes sense ?

    Dear sir
I stumbled upon your channel through a Swami Sivanada video. I am moved by the clarity of yogic teachings in many of your videos.
May i ask a question regarding soham meditation. I learnt about soham yoga from a book and found it to be the most profound exerience.
It teaches to intone so during inhalation and ham during exhalation.
I have also heard hamsa yoga sadhana practitioners saying ham to be intoned during inhalation and sa to be intoned during exhalation.
Which one of the methods is right or are both of them right and different practices.
I was late to find your extremely good channel. Keep teaching.
    Thank you
    Regards

Yes, this is a very common question. Even the shastras have it both ways, some with so on the inhalation, some with ham on the inhalation. Which mantra you chant is totally dependent on what was given to you by your guru. Hamsa is a common mantra for sannyasins.
When meditating on Hamsa/Soham I find that the mantra sometimes shifts on its own. Sometimes it is So'ham, othertimes in is Hamsa. Seeing as how it is the natural mantra of the breath and you are not 'doing' it, I just perceive the mantra however it presents itself to me without forcing it to be one way or the other.
Thank you for listening and for asking such a great question!
      Hari Om

@@TantraForLife Thank you for the answer. Could you please tell your thoughts regarding brahmacharya. Swami sivananda being an advocate of brahmachari, do you feel marriage amd other ties hamper spiritual practice. What are your thoughts. Do you feel a true spiritual aspirant should not marry or else he hinders his practice.
